Loot from T'zane

I just had to answer door during world boss (T’zane). when I got back, group had killed him and he had respawned. Would loot have dropped automatically or would i have had to loot the corpse? If I had to loot corpse and I didn’t and then I zoned out after group disbanded, would I get another chance to get loot if I killed again with another group?

By the way, I posted this in the ‘Quests and Achievements’ Forum to start with as I didn’t notice this one and it won’t allow me to delete. ev :confused:

world bosses give you the loot automaticly.

Also you may have had to ‘tag’ the boss and be within 40 yards to get the automatic loot, as long as these conditions were met you would have had your chnace for loot this week.
