The Lordaeron Vanguard, also known as the Third Legion of Lordaeron, has risen as the primary force of Hillsbrad, sworn to defend its people and to restore the last bastion of Lordaeron. From their banners flies the twin-headed eagle of vigilance and unity, a symbol of the oath they have sworn to King, Kingdom, and Light.
Their mission is clear, to reclaim the lost lands of the Westreach in Hillsbrad Foothills, to drive out the remnants of all threats that plague Lordaeron and to see the light of civilization return to the scarred hills and coasts.
At the heart of their endeavor lies Redricks Hill, once the proud seat of Count Frederick Stansford, High Lord of the Westreach. Though the lands fell to the calamities that shattered Lordaeron, the bloodline of Stansford endures. Last heir, Lord Tyler Stansford, grandchild of Frederick Stansford, has returned to bring back the Light over his grandfather’s ancestral lands. With the faithful Vanguard at his side, he leads the charge to rebuild Redricks Hill into a bastion of strength and hope, and serve as one of the grand shields for a future Lordaeron of the living.
The Vanguard are more than soldiers. They are builders, protectors, and exemplars of Lordaeron’s legacy, heirs to its virtues of Respect, Tenacity, and Compassion. Whether upon the battlefield or within the walls of a growing city, they stand united under the Light’s grace, unyielding until their charge is complete.

Out-of-Character Information 
The Lordaeron Vanguard is a Lordaeron focused RP-PvE/PvP guild with a strong feudal-fantasy theme. We aim to create a living community within the new Housing/Neighborhood feature, placing our settlement in the western Hillsbrad Foothills (Westreach).
We balance military RP with civil/town RP, so whether you prefer soldiering, serving the Light, or living the life of a townsfolk, there’s a place for you.
Who We’re Looking For
- Townfolk / Civilians – no race restrictions. Craftsmen, settlers, mercenaries, militia, merchants, farmers, and nobles are all welcome.
- Soldiers of the Vanguard – restricted to races: Humans (including Kul Tirans), Worgen (in both forms), Dwarves, High Elves, and Gnomes.
- Clergy of the Light – Priests, Paladins and devoted servants of the Faith.

Guild ranks + IC ranks to earn in promotion ceremonies.
- High Command: Lord Commander (Lord Tyler Stansford)
- Military Ranks: Captain → Officer (Lieutenant) → Knight (Sergeant Major, Sergeant, Corporal) → Legionary (Lance-Corporal, Private First Class) → Aspirant (Private) → Recruit
- Clergy Ranks: Officer (Bishop) → Priest (Chaplain, Cleric) → Student of faith (Deacon, Acolyte)
- Civilian Roles: Officer (Magistrate) → Townfolk (Councilor, Noble, Militia, Trader, Mercenary, Artisan)
Events We Host
- RP-PvE: patrols, defense missions, expeditions, and campaigns.
- RP-PvP: skirmishes against Horde encounters.
- Civil RP: rebuilding, sermons, feasts, tourneys, markets, political gatherings and daily life.
OOC Rules & Themes
- Grounded Fantasy: Avoid god-modding, overly flashy armor/weapons, or “modern” concepts.
- Mounts: Horses/horse-like creatures for ground use; gryphons, mecha-suits, gyrocopters for flying.
- Uniforms: Lordaeron armor (Stormwind armor set at base with few customs). Guild tabard required for military ranks.
- Tone: Feudal-fantasy roleplay, medium towards high fantasy atmosphere in battles.
