We’ve proven with evidence that Vulpera Warlocks make more sense than Draenei Paladins, so I’m not sure how much more “sense” you want them to make.

Draenei in general are fan-service, as I remember very well that the draenei, before the retcons, were Demons who corrupted Sargeras.
I also remember how the Broken and Lost ones were pretty much the entire race. Guess draenei by themselves are fan service.

Gorgeous indeed. But I am afraid Adamante, being so adamantly(heh) against fan-service, will have to delete their draenei.
That was the Eredar. The Draenei weren’t connected at all to the Eredar until the retcons. Before the Retcons, this is all the Draenei were;

So yeah, anybody running around with a slootmogged Female Draenei Paladin can’t really talk down “fanservice”.

How were they fanservice? I didn’t see forums flooded with people requesting to retcon the W3 draenei into what they are?
Yeah, they became fan favorite, but don’t mistake that for a fanservice, since you clearly got that all wrong.
And where exactly did you see flooded forums with vulpera warlock requests? Cause I most certainly didn’t, and I am relatively active on the forums.
Can we all just agree that Blizzard is too liberal in their class-race-combinations to claim that they are all to be taken seriously in lore (especially not with all their specs and class skills), and too illiberal to just give us everything that might be fun to play?
I’ve been an advocate for allowing every class for every race and leaving it to the players to decide if it makes sense in lore, if it makes sense as an exceptional case, or if it just doesn’t make sense. It’s not like Blizzard barring players from classes keeps RPers from RPing them anyways. I’ve seen Warlocks of every race, as well as Worgen and gnome Paladins in RP… even a gnome druid, once.
So I really fail to see what Blizzard gains by trying to restict what players can play. RPers make their own rules, and the rest is much more about gameplay than the lore restrictions. I have never seen a void elf shamed for speccing holy in a dungeon, no matter how little sense it makes in lore.
The only argument that kind of makes sense to me is the work that they put into druid forms, totems and paladin mounts. Well… seems like a good thing to work towards for me, so I’m okay with them putting some development time into making a gnome bear.

I’m talking about the race as whole, obviously.
Accounting for the obvious, that with such highly requested race, nobody will have a problem whether or not something isn’t quite right, because people will justify it for themselves.

This thread only confirms that people are relatively used to Blizz not giving a crap about lore since forever. I had to swallow the entirety of BFA, do you think desert rat warlocks can annoy me?
So Vulpera joining the Horde (which has Warlocks), which makes sense, means that Vulpera Warlocks don’t make sense and are fanservice?
Because if you’re trying to argue that Vulpera joining the Horde don’t make sense then I think you’ve really not been paying attention.
People don’t give a crap about lore if it means they get what they want.
Amazing insight into the human nature, I am sure. In my own case, I am too jaded to really care about an issue this minor while walking through the giant whirlwind of crap which is this expansion.
