Lore oriented professions for Dwarf Shaman

Greetings!

I am looking for lore oriented professions for Dwarf Shamans. I am curious how do you imagine them and which professions fits them the most.

Beside Herbalims and Alchemy, I think they could be miners as well. Not sure, but Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing (Hammersmith specialization) could fit them, too.

How you imagine Dwarf Shamans and how they lived?

Thats racism dude

I am racist! I hate dwarves and gnomes! Report me for racism!

PS: I hate the fox race too.

Master of the elements = shaman
Uses ore, stone, fire, air and water to forge epic items on the big METAL anvil
Mining plus Blacksmith should be the move

Those were my thought as well

Which Blacksmith specialization you think would fits the most? Hammers?

Well dwarfs are ruled by the Council of Three Hammers, so it fits nicely.
Sadly afaik we dont have weaponsmith specializations in retail.

Well in most lores, dwarfs the best blacksmiths and miners.

But since u have zero use for bs as shaman, you should go jc and mining.

That’s actually a great question! I’d say Mining and Jewelcrafting are both a fit. Dwarves, whether Bronzebeard or Dark Iron and even Wildhammer, have a special relationship with the earth beneath their feet. So I can completely see it working from a lore standpoint.

Also, don’t forget Archaeology - it’s a Dwarf’s calling after all! The Explorers’ League was founded to find the Titanic origins of the Dwarves and became… well, much more than that.

Yes I’m pretty fond of Dwarves, can you tell?

Yes, didn’t think about archeology, since I am relatively new so I am c9nnecting professions with Classic still

I was thinking about herbalism and alchemy, and those are awesome professions for shamans, but no matter how much shamans are focused to be alone and in wild, it doesn’t fit to dwarves like mining. When I think about dwarves I think about mountains, snow and cities in the bottom of the earth, so mining sounds like a great profession.

Beside mining, I could relate them with blackamithing because I can imagine them how stand at the top of the mountain, far away in the clouds and forging weapons with lightings. But I didn’t know there’s no weapon specializations anymore. Would be really cool to ralate them with Hammersmithing.

Also, Leatherworking and Skinning could be good as well. Since they are all alone in the wild, they could probably learn those professions so they could be able to survive.

Cooking, hunting… maybe gathering?
A dwarf shaman has to eat!

Dwarves?

Mining definitely, blacksmithing is like the usual dwarf thing right? They normally forge all the best things.

Archeology, jewelcrafting for sure I can imagine them enjoying the jewels.
Hell dwarves for me always seem like a hard working and self reliant race so any prof really.

I think it depends what type of Dwarf you are more than your class.

Ironforge and Dark Iron Dwarves naturally would go mining and blacksmith/jewelcrafting.

Wildhammer perhaps more herbalism and alchemy/inscription or even leatherworking.
