Lore Questions - Might be hard to answer

Why does Anduin punch Wrathion? I read that it is because he got his father killed?
I really don’t see how though. I just played the first hour of timewalking Legion and Gul’Dan kills Varian.

Also, does Anduin ever get any vengeance against Guldan?
Also how exactly did the Burning Legion come to Azeroth?

Nerzhul is in the Mythic+ dungeon, Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, I did it as +2
Is that… Nerzhul? Like, the lich king? Like the guy who corrupted dreadlords, arthas and more? The big bad of W3?

Why is he alive? Why is he a 5 man and not like, idk a raid boss? Why was he frozen in the Helm of Domination?

Wrathion kind of caused the chain of events which lead to the Legion invasion to begin with.
It starts with the (now removed) MoP legendary cloak questline, where Wrathion played both sides to have one emerge victorious so that there is an united Azeroth to fight againsst a Legion Invasion he has foreseen. That goes wrong, when Garry turns all of the Horde against himself and Varian chooses peace instead of suicide under Orgrimmar. That leads into the War Crimes novel, where Wrathion teams up with Kairozdormu to break Garrosh out and put him into an alternate timeline Dreanor, where he forms the Iron Horde, counquers Azeroth and they’ve got infinite Hordes to fight the legion… that also goes wrong pretty much instantly when Garrosh beats Kairoz to death leading us into WoD, where we defeat the Iron Horde which turn to Alt Gul’dan for power and ends up summoning Archimonde among other things. When Archimonde dies he sends alt Gul’dan to our Azeroth to unseal the portal at the Tomb of Sargeras at the Broken Shore during some audiodrama i don’t remember the name of, which sets up the joint assault by the Aliance and the Horde.

Would be a very very condensed version of the story.

First and foremost, Anduin is not the person to seek vengeance. Although he kind of got it indirectly as we killed Gul’dan in the Nighthold during Legion.

Gul’dan reopened the Tomb of Sargeras and opened a portal for the demons using the Felstorm, which is like a gateway to Argus, the world the Burning Legion had conquered and made their base.

This is rather complicated:

The Nerzhul we see in Draenor is the alternative version of “our” Nerzhul who originated in Draenor before it became Outland. It became Outland when he opened multiple Portals for the orcish Horde to retreat.

Nerzhul of “our” realm, meaning the one from Outland, became the Lichking eventually. The Nerzhul you see in the dungeon however, did not.

Because he was responsible for the chain of actions that made Gul’dan bring the burning legion back to Azeroth. Without him breaking Garrosh free the Iron Horde would have no means of coming at us and having Gul’dan ready to move.

Doesn’t matter who did it, Gul’dan is dead only that matters.

Our Ner’zhul was turned into a caricature and had no sense of identity by the end of his story. Sadly. AU Ner’zhul was kiled before he could use the dark star to destroy Karabor. WoD was a scam for Orc fans anyways since the green human(Thrall) aided the Draenei in getting rid of the old school Orc heroes.

Will the Zandalari ever get revenge on Jaina? Who knows?
