Lorewise isin't warrior the weakest class?

They have no powers, they only rely on thier own strength and weapons. Sure they are masters with handling a weapon and close quarter combat. But they’re not invincible. From lore perspective mage, specifically medivh, can kill hundreds of foes with one spell. Good luck doing that as a warrior.

Lets say garrosh, and varian wrynn are the today best warrior, how whould they stand a chance against a mage lorewise?

Paladins can ressurect, cast powerful shields.

Death knights are allready strong as a base, can raise army of ghouls. And good in close quarter combat.

Warlocks, can open portals and summon huge army of demons.

Yet all of this, warrior is my favorite class. :heavy_heart_exclamation:

Spell reflect.

Spell reflect work in gameplay, but does it work in lore is another question? How does a spell reflect back? Whouldin’t the shield just absorb it?

If not, the mage can just cast polymorph, something that can’t be countered then pyroblast and your dead.

This has been debated many times and it went something like this: Druid>Warlock>Mage>Shaman>DK>Pala>Rogue>Monk>Hunter>Warrior.

DH prob at same ish place with DK.

Straight up nightmare fuel.

Yea, ironically i just watched that video before this post. The warriors there have no chance, yes they are just regular warriors and no elite, and a powerful druid, but still. If garrosh were there instead, whould it end differently?

Maybe Sha-infused Garrosh would stand a chance, but regular Garrosh versus someone of a Caliber like Malfurion? No chance at all.

People vastly underrated the Night Elves specifically for so many years due to the poor writing in WoW, but they were just as much if not more savages than Orcs.

Bear in mind Malfurion is the same Druid that went without breaking a small sweat toe-to-toe with Saurfang and Saurfang despite having Soldiers around him knew he met his end. And Saurfang is supposed to be among one of the best warriors we’ve known.

The “phsyical” classes if you wish in form of Hunter, Rogue, Warrior and Monk aswell have no real chance at all lorewise and will always be outclassed.

Of course you could argue that an absolute Monster and one of a kind like Malfurion is a a rare breed of a Druid, but I am not so sure if Variann Wrynn for example would win against someone like his old Gladiator Friend Broll Bearmantle either.

Malfurion… tastes like chicken.

It was such a let down after that cinematic. The Horde should have been composted like that orc.

What Warriors lack in magical powers, they make it up with guile, skill and sheer guts. Plus, they can do wonders with the right weapons (see Broxxigar). Sheer power doesn’t necessarily mean everything, though it usually does because writers reduces most confrontations to a simple clash of power.

Also, people don’t realize how powerful Malfurion is. Never mind other druids, he’s on a whole other league of whooping butt and taking names. He could straight up beat almost anyone in Azeroth if he so wanted. He’s that much of an hilariously overpowered guy, and his history backs it up.

Broxigar is essentially the only dude ever to wound Sargeras, and he was a simple warrior armed with a magical artifact.

This is also the prime reason we barely get any screen time of either Stormrage.

Malfurion is single-handedly the most powerful mortal Azeroth has and he’s been at that top for god knows how long and Illidan ontop of his magical prowess and combat experience has an immortal demon soul.

The Stormrage brothers are unfortunately always written off except in WC3, TBC, a bit of Cata and Legion because they are just immensively difficult to add into the current storylines due to their sheer powerlevels.

This is also why they simply send Illidan off on that Spaceship you can see in the sky as a red dot to jailwatch Sargeras.

Bear in mind that said Artifact was also crafted from two of the mightiest Druids (or Druid-patron-demigod) Warcraft has known (Malfurion made it under Cenarius’ Guidance) and it still did less than give him a scratch ironically enough.

That’s the race that I loved so much in Warcraft. What happened to them in wow?

I’ve only been learning the lore for a few months but one of the first things I noticed was just how dirty they did the Keldorei.

Even the in-game model is a poor representation of just how jacked and powerful they are.

Everyone uses a powerful artifact to conduit their powers though

Guardian of Tirisfal uses Ateish
Arthas had Frostmourn
Tirion had The Ashbringer

I’d say that’s a fair amount of damage, considering Sargeras is a cosmic god

As fury you have super strength. Literally called “Titan’s Grip”.

Tirion could never wield the Ashbringer to its full potential, though.

For that, look to Alexandros. The only one who ever did.

Warriors can scream in different colors.
