Same here, if i do lfr and the run is very quick and smooth then i am willing to give away items. But if you wipe like 30 times due to stupidity and/or many being afk then it is going to fund my repair costs
I think you went a bit far there but I do believe that every person in the group has equal rights to roll on items and it’s none of your business why they’re rolling.
Because some items are better for you even if it’s lower ilvl.
I’ve met plenty of well geared trash players
a bit cringe take. high lvls are there for specific tmogs/recipes etc. they dont care about helping anyone. they just press buttons and do the run for their own collections/quests. so no its not a boost. if anything they should pay for the rest of 24 people required to start an lfr a token payment…no? see this goes both ways. cringe
Easily said from dh. For example, I do now, because my favorite specs were really bad for the months. And some of them continue to suck.
What you are doing is really nasty tho, you never was a noob? I remember doing very low DPS in SL in lfr and feel awful for that.
I sometimes need on items I don’t, if I see someone else rolled who don’t actually need it. You can trade it to the person who had closest roll and who actually need it. For example. Especially if it’s a ring.
Btw, people act like there is no time in lfr to inspect people. There is plenty of time usually and it’s so slow most of the time.
not if he need it for transmog.
at the end of day you still lost roll and its only thing that matters.
is it nota good feeling when you loose the roll ? yes certainly
but when you get that 1 amazing roll on that bis item you relly want (like i did on DFO from hc rotface last night ) -god it feels amazing - i was literaly shouting on discord my happy shouts when it happened.
and thats what get us hooked on mmorpgs. thats why mmorpgs are so addictive.
thats why its 20 years later and we all still play wow
Exactly, as it’s none of your business why I’m rolling for it, or anyone else’s, right? If we apply your logic, this thread should never existed in the first place.
Can confirm this.
I was a noob, but back then I used to ask what I didn’t know or I didn’t understand. And surely I didn’t intentionally kill myself at the start of the fight just so I can watch Netflix instead and then roll Need on items.
I help newbies, but I can’t stand jerks.
Again, stop lying. It’s very rare that people do this and you’re using it as weak justification to be a douche.

Not that many lfr fights logged for you but they all show you’re lying.
Indeed, that’s why I said
Sure thing, except you forget that it is those high ilvl players who carry tour low ilvl butt and make the boss kill happen.
I roll on everything that I can roll on. I even check the bosses before pull and change loot spec to one I do not play or ever will play to take the trinkets and weapons. I mostly sell the items to people who need them or disenchant them.
I once had to pay 40k for a trinket and since then I have no remorse to anyone. Roll higher or pay up.
nice larp cringe . yawn.
How do you know they died intentionally? I would die on some easy things and not intentionally, but because I was overwhelmed and I did feel bad about it. I also never had a TV after moving from my parents. I also loved how there would be rolls if person didn’t need PL, was nice. For noobs, gear matters more too, because they will not get something good from M+/normal/heroic/mythic
You can look at them while the encounter is active and you can see them jump off platform, intentionally stay in lava, only melee weapon damage at the end of the fight, etc.
Or you can upload the logs as private on warcraftlogs and check the replay to see everyone’s position and why they died, why they did so little damage. You will be surprised.
Let’s take this guy for example:

https ://ibb.co/4KF06Kr
You’re telling me that he spammed only sunfire and moonfire the entire fight because he was a noob? Even if you’re special and play a hunter, you know that your class has more than 2 buttons. He was simply trolling.
At the end of a 3min-4min fight, you have 117 sunfires, 7 moonfires, 13 starfires (i think by mistake) and 1 starsurge.
Sadly, people like this are more and more common these days.
So the guy jumped into lava, died and posthumously used Sunfire 117 times while being AFK and watching Netflix?
Then you have to give the item to the person who willed closely to winning and who didn’t die on purpose.
