I returned to WoW today and I remembered on one of my characters I had a Mekgineer’s Chopper which I crafted myself with engineering. I recall putting it on the auction house, with one of my characters either Darkhorn, Darkworgen or Darkspliter.
I fear that I may have left it on the auction house and took a break from the game a couple of months ago and that it may have been left in my mailbox and eventually deleted.
Its quite a valuable item and I don’t want to lose it i’ve searched my banks and inventories to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this before ? or can any GM help me ?
Afaik GM’s will not retrieve lost mail or auctions.
Only time I’ve seen them retrieve any mail is if the mail was sent to wrong character. Meaning I was meant to send gold to my alt, but typo-ed the name and the gold ended up on someone else’s character. Even then GM said they wouldn’t been able to retrieve it if the account had not been already unactive for a long time.
If you have lost some mail we can take a look and see if there is anything in our logs - mail lasts for 30 days before being returned to the original sender (where it will also last 30 days there) and from the auction house will be deleted after 30 days. If it was a very long time ago (say 3 months or more) it’s likely we won’t have this in our logs, but if it was recent enough it never hurts to send in a ticket here.
