I somehow did something that made the Love Witch transmog be added to my collection, I absolutely did not want that. I love transmog, but this horrid pink stuff is just, well, no offence to those who like it. When I looked at it in the store, I thought “Boy, am I ever not buying that”. And now it’s the first thing I see on every tab, every armor type. Is there any way to remove these items, or to sort the collection so I don’t have to see it every time i open the transmog tabs?
Transmog items are permeant and set up to auto add to your inventory, assuming your chara can use the item. In some cases the item will not add because your chara can’t not transmog the item into something else. But typically, once you pick up the item, you’ll see blue text within the item screen saying you haven’t collected this appearance yet. so even if you sold it or deleted it afterward, it will still show up in your collections list. I know I don’t like all the clutter either.
Thanks Cooperbrew! I tried adding some other looks, but the rosy ones are still in the first slot in the collection. Maybe the trade items are always shown first.
I guess I’ll have to get used to having them there
Just wanted to update you on this… Take note of the hat I’m wearing… I originally wanted to just buy this hat and just wear it… But when I used it to transmog, my current armored hat, During trasnmogging, the https://www.wowhead.com/item=3889/russet-hat disappeared. This will mean I’ll have to buy another one just to be able to actually wear it without transmorgging. Also, Note when buying items, that ssays “cosmic” there’s some green text it says “Use: Add this appearance to your collection.” I purchased the hat and left it in my inventory without actually wearing it…
So one is essentially just buying the transmog appearance and it’s suggested that you wear the items first and bypass trnasmoggging all together.
It’s the traders award for this month. The set pieces are automatically added to your collection upon looting the tender chest once you have filled the activity bar.
Aha, thanks Ráevelyn, that explains why all those pieces flew in to my collection when I opened the chest. I got a little stressed at first, and thought that I had somehow triggered a bug that sent them to me although I had not bought them.
