i believe i cant join raids and i find it hard to enjoy even 5 ppl dungeons.
is it the notebook?is it the internet connection?
also downloaded once the game about 70gb but when updated to bfa didnt download anything.

Yes absolutely.
This notebook is not meant for gaming (except solitaire  )
The AMD A9-9425 APU in it is EXTREMELY slow and below minimum specs for the game.
The RAM is also really slow with only 1866Mhz and on top, it is only one stick of memory which means it runs in single channel mode (thus halfing the bandwidth).

Your Radeon 530 GPU can’t run any modern game at 1080P (the resolution of your display btw) at playable FPS.
See here:
https://technical.city/de/video/Radeon-530
You can select the games from the dropdown menu and see the expected FPS.
As you can see it can’t even run Fortnite properly.

Tldr; the only thing that would give you playable FPS while questing (not raids, they are CPU intense), is to lower the “resolution scale” ingame to 50% (which basically means it halfes the display resolution from 1080P to 720P and in the process scales it back up so it will be really blurry.

I really hope you did not buy this notebook for WoW, it is not for gaming but for office and surfing the web…

Everyone downloads the FULL client, including all updates. The only difference between Legion and B4A, is a “key” that turns on the disabled content. So that is correct, upgrading to B4A means you don’t need to download anything extra, they just activate the disabled content.

This should not be as extreme as described - more like “there is slight hope”. I tested similar configurations and it was playable although at lowest or close to settings and not always at satisfying level.

Radeon 520 is 130-150% of UHD 620 and even though it’s really low it should be playable from the GPU side. The CPU is somewhat comparable to i3-5010U I tested.

You would have to try from lowest settings to see what FPS you can squeeze:

  • Set quality settings to 1
  • Set the render scale to 720p (1280x720)

If it’s playable at >= 30 FPS you can increasing render distance a bit to get better view of surroundings.

Your laptop is just too weak for this game. I remember playing on GTX1050 and it was unplayable at all, and your gpu is much worse than this. Get gaming PC or laptop or play on 1 settings with graphics scaling at 50%, maybe you’ll get 30+ fps
