anyone else experiencing low fps in arena/bgs? like really low 30-40 fps when i easily get 100+ outside and even in cities. for me it remains the same even after updating all drivers and disabling all addons. benchmarks are fine and i dont have any problems in other games.

This happened to me too last night, out of nowhere, on multiple maps.
It might be related to your Graphic settings, experiment different things, turn off, lower etc something until it doesn’t. If it doesn’t get fixed then buy a new pc 
make sure to keep only the essential graphic setting, like particule projection on and set detail of shadow and light environnement to 1
FPS is very important compared to some graphic details
Also don’t forget in graphic there’s special section of “raid/ battleground”
yep exactly out of nowhere last night, never happened before that.
I had the same issue . My issue was Flyplatebuffs . Had to change it with an9ther addon that’s basically the same thing . But i was dropping from 150 fps ingame to 30-50 fps max . I suggest disabling every addon and adding them one by one doing skirmishes or 2’s with a buddy to test it out . Record your game to see the fps fluctuation as well.

same type of fps drop for me, but i already disabled ALL addons and the problem remains as of today game is literally unplayable for me that way. ive tried it all now, reinstalling graphics drivers, repairing the game u name it pls fix ur stuff blizzard.
Edit: ive narrowed the problem down strictly to RATED instanced pvp. skirmish and normal battlegrounds i get full fps. no its not caused by addons
Update: it’s only affecting Mage. Turned all my graphics settings down to 1 and it’s still happening, but only in arena. Doesn’t happen on my Shaman.

So after looking around online, someone on US forums said the problem stopped when he abandoned a Pilgrim’s Bounty quest. I had a Pilgrim’s Bounty quest active, only on my Mage, so I abandoned it, and the FPS issue stopped.
No idea how a quest can do that, but… it worked.

This here is the answer. Just cancel all current season event quests. I had the same issue, it was driving me mad. I wasted a couple of hours because of that nonsense.
Who knows why a simple Quest can cause that kind of problem. I found that on the US forums tho.

I can’t thank you enough for this. but, i have to say, how does a game with 19 years old of age that we pay 13 euros a month can have such a team of BAD DELVELOPERS. how bad can someone be developing a game with 19 years that we pay every month have such a stupid issue. I was going all over my OS, my graphic settings, had reinstall the game out of dispair, to only find out its a random in-game quest that causes such havoc… blizzard SUCKS!
