my theory is: the higher the difficulty the higher the drop rate
probably same as with dungeons ( check local blue post ):
Congratulations! Very happy to hear that! I did a bunch of Spires last night with guildies and we managed to get legendaries for the paladin and warrior eventually. Still took quite a few runs to get, but at least we don’t need to do that dungeon again this week! The changes to drop rates are extremely welcome!
Doesn’t says anything about the one from the raid but I guess I does make sense to be that way.
as i said it is my theory
i use analogy as a basic to come to this conclusion
cause no player can know this atm with certainty - no raid wing is available yet
Yay, Gratz Mate!
Good show
I’m kind of fine with the idea that you might need to run normal 10x, or heroic 6x, or mythic 3x to have a reasonable chance of the drop, tbh - it was just seeing lots of people saying they were on their 20-50th run that was disturbing. Glad that it wasn’t the design intent that players end up stuck in a loop for weeks
I did spires 4 times A mage got a legend drop And just now a paladin had legend drop meanwhile i’m in que for 5th time trying to get mine
These retards didn’t think of putting a 90% droprate for classes who need their legendary in dungeon, it’s beyond ridiculous.
I’m run countless of this trash dungeon for 5 HOURS ! And I still didn’t get it !
What are you guys talking about?
I already have 12 legendary effects.
The key thing here is to run torgast i got 8 of 12 from there alone
clown spotted hahaha just do that dungeon in a mythic +2 and you get it lol
why everyone nowdays keep crying
This legendary hunt is ridicolous. People leaving after killing the boss they need, creating a toxic dungeon party.
It’s so unsatisfying spamming Halls of Atonement on heroic for a legendary that has 1.5 % chance of dropping from Chamberlain. Terrible implementation, it should have been more like Legion but maybe not as bad as it was then.
You mean to say “it should have been as 7.3 legion, in which you could actually buy the things, and even mail them to alts”.
No. Are you stupid? I clearly said it shouldn’t be as bad as it was then.
You think the system in which you could buy the legendary items with currency that dropped from all activities and mail them to alts was bad?
How easy do you want the game to be? Why on earth should you be able to mail LEGENDARIES, the most powerful gear available to alts? Im all for alt-friendliness, but come on
Because in the context of Legion, you could get over 10 of them and they were fully random.
In the context of BFA, which also had a currency system a lot of people questioned why their mains are capped on resources which they can never use, but the alts are starved for them.
You also have the assumption that legendary items are something more than an additional talent, which is tied to a gear instead of the talent page. This assumption would still hold truth, if we are talking Pre MoP legendary items, which were one item that took weeks of work, and not the current day systems in which it is a matter of couple of hours.
Are you too dumb to realize it’s not 100% droprate in Mythic either ?
Already cleared it multiple times in MM0 and +, still didn’t have it.
No, droprate is still a joke!
