Is it just me or would the game be so much more enjoyable without all the cross-server/faction blocks?
My main issues:
- I can’t craft items for my friends since they are on different server.
- Being stuck on a low pop server reduces my possibilities to scale my proffessions greatly, since Iam kind of dependent on public crafting orders. Yes, they added some bs tab where you can craft items for bots, but Iam playing an ONLINE game, not some offline SSF mmorpg.
- When the release came I had hoped for the possibilty to queue cross faction to dungeons… because why the hell not?
This just a few things, but I just don’t understand why they would put us in chains like this? I rather quit the game than migrate all my characters to different servers depending on faction etc. And why do I have to choose which friends to play with (beeing able to craft for eachother etc)?

You can transfer to your friends server.
Or
Guilds are cross server now, so you can join their guild and craft for them thru guild craft orders.
But you have to pay € to transfer, that’s the issue.

You can also pay with Battle net balance bought by gold.
Which requires millions of gold and being realistic nobody is gonna spend millions on a server transfer unless you are going for a world first or something.
Mårc get’s it. I don’t know what you work with Pounder, but paying each month and beeing forced to buy occasional gold tokens are allready too much tbh. Migrating around is just insane. Also, Guilds are not 100% crossrealm right? Only within the same battle group. And for me that have various friends that I cannot collect into a guild makes what you say impossible.
Arent the AH stuff realm-wide?
Cuz I use different characters from different realms and the stuff I put on AH for sale is the same price.
Stackable currency (herbs, mining, dusts etc) are same price, but items are not.
This does not work. You cannot craft cross realm.
And since guilds are cross server this is just another blizzard con. Blizz makes a huge amount of cash from server transfers and faction changes. So they have allowed people to join cross server and cross faction while implementing blocks on certain social aspects. All in the interest of the “story” of the game. This is no justifiable reason to block trade between guild members. If you can raid together then you should be able to interact fully with each other. You should not be left wondering if you should give Blizzard more cash just to achieve what should be normal.
Only commodities and consumables are region-wide. Things like cloth, dust, ore, potions, runes, etc.
Everything else is local to your server. This is also a problem for low pop servers where things are usually more expensive to make up for the lower demand, so people deposit gold in the warbank, make an alt on a high-pop server, and buy their profession equipment, recipes, bags, etc. there, then put those items into their warbank.

Thus why i switched my main character from the ultra low pop server daggerspine to kazzak.
The crafting order system is incredibly dumb and by far the worst addition to the game in a while, It completely cuts off low pop servers from gaining certain items.
While i don’t see why it’s not cross server, you should do the NPC craft orders as they reward you with knowledge, acuity and mats. They are not something to wave away.
Guilds are 100% crossrealm and crossfaction and it has nothing to do with battlegroups.
You can have characters on 100 servers and all of them can be in same guild and all of them can use guild workorders.
I dont know why it would be insane. If really want to earn enough gold to buy transfers, you would do it. You can also wait for 30% discount on shop services and then buy it.
Server transfer cost 2 tokens, 600k gold, not that much if you really want it and have will to do it.
Sure it works, dont spread misinformation. Using guild orders characters in different servers can craft among eachother.
Show me a video. I have tried this and it would not allow it. I am more than happy to be shown I’m wrong, because it means I can make use of mates and my alts for crafts. Last week it did not.
EDIT:
There is a video from wowhead stating they will facilitate this. As I said it did not work for me. Maybe in the future, but I will believe it when I see it.
I also cannot trade cross faction even within a guild. I cannot queue for LFG or LFR. Both of which are pretty stupid restrictions.
Misleading numbers right there, tokens vary a lot in price, a few days ago they were at 340k, not 300k. And that’s only for 1 character, so 2 professions only.
Now imagine if you have your professions spread across characters, like 1 skinner/leatherworker, 1 miner/blacksmith, etc.
And btw 600k per character is still A LOT. Most people never get to have that much gold unless they use their credit card.
I can’t wait for the day they let us have all professions in 1 character… how is that not implemented already, it’s been suggested hundreds of times…
That is true, most people dont, but if you really want, it is possible.
Make char on another server, invite him to your guild and check yourself for guild orders.
Which part of I have already tried this, and it did not work is hard to grasp? It returns character not found error.
