Many players have expressed their exasperation with the state of Low-pop servers, with endless complainting, pleading, whining, and more… and thus far, to no avail unless spending their way out of it via server transfer. Of course, I feel solidarity with these players, but this post is not about this particular problem. It is about the powers-that-be and their current approach to the player base on this issue.

There has been no recognition that this is a problem by any person of authority- at least, on these forums publicly.

Ironically, this problem was actually addressed over the course of previous expansions - many servers were merged into battlegroups, and then lashed together into a single server between 2010-2019 (my memory is hazy). Could it be that said change was a mistake? If so, why hasn’t that been stated?
Example: ('Yes, Classic Community, we want to inform you that we intend to leave this issue as it is rather apply our previous solutions because it was problematic / costs too much/ we don’t have the manpower for it) -
The player base has made VERY public declarations that a lack of even responding to this issue would mean finances are motivating this decision to ‘do nothing’. Yet, the silence continues. Does that mean you are willing to tarnish the already problematic reputation (various lawsuits unnamed) that you and your predecessors worked to achieve?

This behavior, this style of game management, server management, is probably symptomatic of a much larger issue - general disconnect from the player base’s genuine and constructive feedback. Acting on that feedback will probably boost subs, which would inherently resist population decline.
I could be wrong. WE could be wrong. If so, show us. Explain to us how our feedback is flawed or problematic, or lacks feasibility. We welcome the reply.
‘No Comment’ has its own consequences, like a silent poison pulsing over the the community. We hear about this on discord, in guild chat, in general… and more. We lack understanding our own circumstances in the game… and this can only end in dissatisfaction.
Do with this post what you will… and from the track record, unlikely to elicit a communication.
But to put things into perspective, we have lost 1 player due to the lawsuits ongoing… and over 12 people due to small population and lack of ability to do content daily. We are a tiny guild (40 players). So when you go to bed tonight thinking saying nothing can’t make things worse… think again.
