The new arena maps, especially after legion, lagg so much on low end computers. For example Blade’s edge and the new Mechagon map. A few others too, but not as much. Please add an option to choose the maps we want to queue for like Counter-strike: Global Offensive, OR an option to lower graphics even more for arena.
I don’t think they’ll ever let you pick which arenas to queue for because for a lot of comps the map has a huge impact on whether you win or lose so being able to only queue your best map would make rating gain much easier
But they can add an option for us to choose at least 5 or more arena maps. So you are forbidden from choosing 4 or less maps, but still have the freedom to cancel out maps that lag for you.
EDIT: Doesn’t necessarily have to be 5, that was just an example.
They wont do that. Cant you run on lowest settings?
There is an option in graphics settings called “Graphics settings for battlegrounds and raids” which allows you to set low settings specifically for these regimes. The switch between usual and bg/raid graphics modes has an adjustible hot key, which allows you to switch from one graphics mode to another manually. Hence you can use this trick to swiftly increase your FPS when you enter arena. Any pc can work at graphics settings set to 1, so I hope this helps.
the only thing they should remove without thinking about it twice is npc screaming at you while you play arena
quack quack quack
I am on lowest settings, graphics 1 with graphics card gt 620, it lags so much, like really. Even maps that are really good for me, lag, which sucks.
So is that below min settings then?
There is a below min setting? since when
If the game lags in arenas on the lowest settings it might be time for a new PC honestly…
There probably won’t be an option to choose arenas anytime soon and they also won’t change the graphics
I mean come on, I already envy people that can play at maximum graphics, but also make people like me lag on the lowest graphics possible? That’s insane, making me feel that this game has specific standards.
Try to play windowed mode on lower resolution.
Found a fix. Change your monitor resolution either from NVIDIA settings or Right click your desktop and go to Display Settings. Put it on 1024x768. If you still lagg then lower it even more to 800x600.
