Not sure if people had the occassion to try the dungeon this week but the Opera(1st boss) is simply not possible in your average pug.
Explosive orbs popping randomly in every corner every 2 seconds plus the hectic boss tactics, with stuff that need to be avoided constantly. I am pretty sure this was not tested properly, your average joe can’t manage through this alive.
I am not expecting this to be fixed as people won’t bother with M+ after a few weeks but this is some lazy design by the development team. It is really unfortunate that I have to wait another week+ to finish off with this +15 timed, just because of one badly designed affix/boss.

I tried healing a low one (13) and indeed it was hell.
It’s true that I’m an amateur healer, just starting this season.
Still, that boss spawning orbs per add (6 murlocs+3 casters+boss), plus bosses mechanics (bubbles, waves, fire thing, etc), plus accounting for other people’s mistakes plus my own…yeah it was way above my league
I think they should at least cap orbs only for bosses not those adds.

I did play it. It is hard (at least on 7+) but not un-doable. We had a Warlock, a Priest, a DK Tank, a Survival Hunter and me as a Ret Pala. Took us 2 tries to get it done. And our Tank never played the dungeon before on mythic.
I agree that lower Kara is massively overtuned especialy Opera with Westfall Story, Tyrannical and Explosive. Normaly i do +16 keys on most instances, but all pugs i joined fail on that first fight. I am even puging +12 and havent had a single group that passed. I know you have good and bad groups but still way to hard.

Kara is harder then rest but this fitx much more towards how playerbase do tactics in m+
if something cant be bruteforced then people behave exckly like this dealing with it.
want proof ? look at great push and how people there do 26-28.
I have just given up on Lower Kara, got KSM, will avoid setting foot in there again. The first boss and explosives is just broken. Did it on a +6 which has no explosives and it’s like a different fight
In the level 15 - 20 range it is not tuned. I have tried 10 times level 19 and the group always fails.

I have too, I did it on +15 to get the score for tyrannical first week and I don’t think I’m going back there on any higher keys unless they nerf the hell out of moroes garrote. At least not on tyrannical. The duration limit they introduced is doing nothing about the absurd damage it does, lol. Some passive ticking effect shouldn’t be the main source of damage in an encounter.
I actually think it got harder when they introduced the duration limit on it, because now he circles back to the healer faster than he did before, to stun you again, while people are taking damage. I never got stunned twice prior to this change, that second stun sets you back so far.

Only thing that worked for me was to assign a ranged dps to take orbs at the left side at stage 2.
If you die after the first boss, just go left rather than run back.
I went to the Murlocs and stayed there with the bosses.
If i have to take them all, everything gets chaotic as bosses and adds go left and right constantly.
Better to stay relatively in the middle and assign a person to deal with orbs on one side.

Yep, for me 0% kill rate for 1st boss lol on 13-14 key range.

Both lower and upper breaks all group I have. I try to explain the tacs and still ppl fail in pug. Mechagon is easier as a +17 then Kara at 8

Finished 15+ after failing with half dozen groups … The first time i got passed 1st boss, we finished the dungeon no problem. First boss on Tyrannical with explosives is just way over tuned.

You know whats funny about this?
First week it was basicaly everything + overtuned infiltrators…
Second week it wqs the horses, elementals in moroes room and opera event.
Now its opera again…
My point is…if you wait…youll get another moronic overtuned pile of horse - poop next week in form of different boss or trash pack that will work idioticaly with some afix.
Karazhan, both of them, are an insane mess, buggy, overtuned, long, unfun, small corridors bs that nobody asked for and i bet if legion dungeons would be put for a poll…these two poop holes wouldnt even get a single vote outside of trollers and casual mount colecting petbattlers that havent played a single key since legion launch.

Second week was fine. It’s the bosses that are difficult in there.
The debuff from them deals damage to the mobs as well.
Today i tried it at 18, and honestly, felt like explos arent even half of issue there . Yes they are annoying af but , but the sheer amount of dmg while doing mechanics is insane compared to some other bosses ( even moroes felt piss ez in comparsion)
Now imagine this during quaking , it will be hella fun xd
Ye and delete 80% of your hp on 15. You cannot possibly have a def cd for every single bomb. But it was nerfed so its w/e.
