Hey there,
I’m mildly confused ![]()
Since some longer time (I actually can’t remember how long, TWW launch or later) I get this silly little message:
Message: Interface/AddOns/Blizzard_UnitFrame/TargetFrame.lua:1442: Action[SetPoint] failed because[SetPoint would result in anchor family connection]: attempted from: FocusFrameToT:SetPoint.
Stack:
[C]: in function 'secureexecuterange'
[Interface/AddOns/Blizzard_EditMode/Mainline/EditModeManager.lua]:1208: in function 'UpdateSystems'
[Interface/AddOns/Blizzard_EditMode/Mainline/EditModeManager.lua]:875: in function 'UpdateLayoutInfo'

I know that those errors are basically always caused by addons, besides some rare occasions.
I did use MoveAnything back before Edit Mode got implemented and disabled it since (yes, I know it’s not the same as deleting it and resetting the UI).
Now, okay, I deleted MoveAnything, reset Target and Focus Target frames in Edit Mode to “default” to no avail.
I also deleted a file named “layout-local” in WTF/Account/Acountname/Server/Character as per a reddit post which worked for some
All of that of course didn’t do anyhting, why should it, silly me ![]()
So I just went the usual brutal way and removed Interface and WTF alltogether (of course backed up
)
Switched “Edit Mode” to “Modern” and “Classic” and back to “Personal” again (why ever that was still saved after deleting WTF and Interface
)
And? Well…in every scenario this silly little message still pops up at every reload.
Now…what am I mising here? Nah, google didn’t help much more with SetPoint or secureexecuterange errors ![]()
I’m just confused the “delete everything” hammer didn’t help ![]()
Maybe someone can throw me a “No wonder, you idiot forgot to do this and that”, please? ![]()
Thnaks ![]()
Edit: I also miss this “Interface/Blizzard_EditMode” folder ![]()
