Hello Guys ! using Lutris since a little moment and its been working perfectly since day 1
Recently i was interested to install TSM and IMPOSSIBLE to make it work …i think its related to the APP_helper file it tries to pull Data or something like that
do you have any of you that find out how to make it work it would be very helpful thanks a lot and have a great day …
I have the same problem. If AppHelper addon is enabled I’m getting “Streaming error” after few seconds I enter a game. It worked in 8.2.5.
I’ve installed WoW with Lutris on Fedora 32.
I doubt this case is covered by blizzard support though, so this post is for community only. May be someone will find the answer, who knows 
I’m not sure what you mean with “Streaming error”, I’m not streaming gameplay, so if this isn’t helpful to you I apologize. Also I’m not using Lutris.
I’m running Ubuntu 19.10 with Wine Staging 5.6 and DXVK 1.6.1 and I have no problems with TSM, either in Retail or Classic. I installed TSM just by running the install exe with Wine. Both TSM and TSM AppHelper addon is enabled in WoW Addons.
Latest Wine Staging (5.7) is not working for me, WoW does not launch at all. I don’t know if Lutris is using Wine Staging, if so maybe that is one thing to check out.
Only “problem” I have with TSM is in Classic. Sometimes it will say that the database is out of date and suggest a manual scan. But this happens only intermittently.
Same Issue here on Parrot OS running Lutris 5.7. The Game crashed if TSM is enabled. deleting cache folder etc does not fix the problem.
I’m having the same error. I’m running Arch with latest software as of now. I tried several different solutions but none has worked. I executed the TSM app from Lutris both inside and outside the same prefix as WoW, I executed it as a “standalone” wine app. I tried changing permissions too but nothing worked.
I’m out of ideas, I’ve tried every combination I could think of but the results are always the same.
Any help or push in the right direction would be appreciated.
