Lvl 120 boost and shadowland

i would love to get a clarification about preordering Shadowland and getting a lvl 120 boost

Ont he official page of the 120 lvl boost services, its writtend than shadowlands will include a boost

but when you check the 3 different bundles for the preorders, the base one DO NOT saysy to contain a lvl 120 boost

can someone give me a clarification about this?

i want to preorder to get a boost for my DH (since they r broken and i wanna have some fun hehe)
but i really dont care of buyng the eroic or epic version of shadowland!
plus… are DH boostable? right?

Heroic & Epic version of the pre-purchase grant the 120 boost immediately.

Heroic Edition

Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount. The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.

I believe the base edition will likely have a 120 boost, but if it does, it won’t be until expansion release. Heroic and above grants it now.

im worried this is the case…

if u go on the official lvl 120 boost you can read
“Single character bound. World of Warcraft®: Shadowlands includes a level 120 Character Boost”

its greyed out so idk… its not clear at all!

thanks for the info anyway

Hi there Zayøn!

Shammoz wasn’t quite right. The Base version of the game does not have a 120 boost, but the Heroic and Epic versions will have one , as do the Complete Collection versions.
Please keep in mind, these boosts are now World of Warcraft Account Specific rather than Battlenet-specific.

message is clear: pre purchasing shadowlands BASE edition WILL NOT give a free 120 lvl boost

.
.

anyway on your official web page there is a gredyed-out sentence that make some confusion about this topic, this is why i asked clarification!
here is the link (added the 2 #)
us.shop.battle#.net/#en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-service-level-120-character-boost
on the right, under “add to wish list” its written
“Single character bound. World of Warcraft®: Shadowlands includes a level 120 Character Boost”

to be honest i think you should update it to make it more clear ^^

I agree, that’s why I thought it was likely it would have to be honest.

You could read the

"Base, Heroic, and Epic Editions

Choose Your Edition"

section of the page you buy it on.

Base Edition

Includes a pre-purchase* of World of Warcraft®: Shadowlands and early access to Death Knights for Allied Races and Pandaren starting with the Visions of N’Zoth content update.

Heroic Edition

Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus instant access to a Level 120 Character Boost and the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount. The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.

Epic Edition

Includes everything in the Heroic Edition, plus 30 days of game time, the Anima Wyrmling pet, an otherworldly Eternal Traveler’s effect for your Hearthstone, and Illusion: Wraithchill, a cosmetic effect for your weapon. As with other Illusions, Wraithchill cannot be applied to certain weapon types.

See? no mention of the boost in the base version.

Hence the confusion. It’s not mentioned in the standard version but does also (on the same page) say

That should say
“World of Warcraft®: Shadowlands (heroic or higher) includes a level 120 character boost.”

For clarity’s sake. I can understand the OP’s confusion to be fair.

There is no standard version, only Base, Heroic and Epic.

I do agree, it should say “no boost included with the Base Edition”, but the Heroic version does say that it’s the base edition plus other stuff including the Boost.

Actually it says: " World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Heroic and Epic Editions include a Character Boost."

Updated 6 days ago. The page you link is not from the Shadowlands page but the 120 boost page.

Potato, Potahto

Good point well made.

what you sais doesnt change the fact that on the page i linked there is an error, or better, a missleading sentence ^^

I’m not denying the page isn’t 100% accurate but the Shadowlands page is 100% accurate, which is the one you use to buy the expansion.

So is the lvl 120 boost usable now? I tried to make a new character on my account and did not get an option to use the boost. An earlier thread said the thing was bugged?

I used mine. It’s intermittent in appearing, logging into and out of the game made mine appear, I think changing realms works too. Remember you can only use it on the warcraft account you bought it on and you need BfA too.

Also, if it’s your first time playing I would recommend not using it straight away but trying out a few classes before using it to find what you like.

Thanks Ill give that a try.

Ah…found it

thanks for the help
