Nowhere could I find any official information about this…
I am worried that if I buy the Dark Portal Pass or Deluxe Edition now, I wont be able to use any future character boosts that are related to the WotLK release (my friends keep telling me there’ll be lvl70 boost?).
Does anyone have any clear info that could relieve my worries?
No one has this information, I don’t even think Blizzard know 100% what will happen. The following is my (un)educated guess and not fact.
I do think there will be a Dark Portal Pass Wrath Edition which can be bought if you already have bought a Dark Portal Pass TBC edition and it will have new extras.
If you have a dark portal pass TBC edition that is unused it will forever stay at 58.
They will probably retire the Dark portal Pass TBC edition from the shop at the Wrath Pre-patch.
I’m still trying to decide which class to play for Wrath, Hunter, Warlock or Shaman. First time round it was a Shaman, a female Draenei.
I just wish I could move my Dragonflight boost to TBC.
Hello,
I also have worries about this issue. There is a sentence in the official information.
Q: Will there be a Character Boost for Wrath of the Lich King Classic?
A: If you don’t have characters ready for the journey to Northrend …
I have 70 level ready characters. I also didn’t buy dark pas or deluxe edition. If I can’t get the 70 boost, I’m thinking of getting a 58.
I hope the system does not work as in the words and each account can have both 58 and 70 boost at least once.
If course it will work that way, if you have used a 58 boost you will be able to buy a level 70 one. There is little point otherwise.
Level 70 Boost – The level cap will be increased to 80, and we’re introducing a Level 70 Boost so those who didn’t play Burning Crusade Classic but wish to play Wrath with their friends or explore Northrend can do so right away. This boost will be available one per account and can be used on any class except Death Knights.
Notice it says this boost not all boosts.
So you’re saying you can buy both boost packs.
