I know this has been asked countless of times that being able to lvl in old zones but in the end we all have to endure the same 4-6 zones to lvl in for countless of times so instead of asking the same for the 100 time i would like to suggest a new option. Timewalking zones where the zones quests reset and we are able to complete them in that week if it’s Outland or WOD or some other expansions like timewalking dungeons. We all get bored of lvling in the same zones over and over and Dragonflight has actually been pretty decent with ways to lvl in my imo but i think Timewalking zones could be quite interesting then none the less and i know we got Chromie time but that’s only available up to around lvl 60. So i hope something like this gets added . Also it could be an alternative way to add new rewards and before i finish off i know vanilla dungeons can be quite long but i would love if timewalking vanilla dungeons got added i don’t care if they are long. Happy New Year
The only thing I’d like to see if a permanent feature to allow for people to queue for ALL dungeons across the expansions.
So people who do not want to do the timewalking content, can just level purely from dungeons from lvl 10 to 60+ without having to go through the same content due to it being the fastest piece of expansion related content.
Or just extend Chromie time to lvl 70. I’ve already paid for DF, why should Blizzard care whether I use it for all my alts or not? Just let me level where it suits me.
But then the WoW rollercoaster system would no longer work and people would be confused, they’d be lost, alone, no idea what to do next… WoW can not be a fully open “sandbox” like MMO, as too many people would complain that Blizzard is being casualphobic!
I’d love to level my alts in old expansions to max level. It’s enough to level my main in the latest content. The more variety, the better, at least for me.
I think once you’ve done one main through all the campaign and unlocked world quests etc, it would be nice to give alts a choice. I’m not sure if it’s a gear issue that they’d have to balance all the other zones gear to 69.
I have to admit I would be just as bored going to other zones and tend to just dungeon spam or use TW dungeon spam to level fast once I’ve done DF a couple of times. But that’s just me. This gets requested regularly that clearly some would enjoy it.
Yeah, when it comes to alts, I will dungeon spam until. I’d still hope that Blizzard will finally enable a feature for us to join any dungeon within the game (prior to Dragonflight). So I don’t have to jump between the timewalking to find out, which expansion has the most people dungeon running.
Of course it’s faster when there are timewalking events happening.
I would love to be able to queue for all. I don’t like the way we are limited by expansion.
Yeah and it’s not like it’s not a thing out of their control to turn on. It’s a simple add=x,y,z to the dungeon list.
I hope it’s something they may consider for the next expansion, especially with rumours kicking around, that they could be balancing the BFA raid content to be more soloable now compared to what it is currently.
Players who spam dungeons for leveling are usually staying in Stormwind or Orgrimmar so it’s not too far from Chromie to change the expansion. And if the queue is taking too long, you are automatically offered the choice to queue for other expansions.
As for 60-69, we still have choice - DF zones, world quests, DF dungeons, timewalking. Chromie was added to allow leveling in one expansion instead of changing every 5 or 10 levels. Historically the last 10 (or 5) levels have been gained in the most recent expansion.
