Conduits shouldn’t be part of the loot table. Dungeons have become extremely unrewarding for time spent and effort put. I’m burned out already; 12 dungeons this week and one item from all. At this rate, I’ll find better use of my time and just settle for doing one weekly dungeon cause it’s not worth it doing 11 extra dungeons just for one piece of loot. You’re not making people play more, you’re making them play less.

In finishing months of BFA i got 1 loot a week in chest … and that loot was sometimes a duplicate of what i already had …
Now i have a vault that gives me choice.
Umm seems someone is always not looting their chest possibly to avoid trading or something. That’s pretty lame …

I think they are. I’ve done some dungeons and I’m pretty sure they count as loot not as extra loot.
Thats what we do, just do a few key and log off. Raid logging for the win.
They dont. Blizzard confirmed u have 2 items per time key, meanwhile some groups i was in droped two items like 7 conduits and 3 legendary memories… Thats like 12 items in total.
Conduits and leggos arent loot. They are special bonus loot and it has mothing to do with regular gear.
I’m going have to start spamming 15s for upgrades soon. I’ve been saying it for a while that those items dont really matter. You can get so many guaranteed items weekly for doing easy content it’s actually silly to whine about 210 ilvl (if youre doing 15s) loot. Main goal of s1 is getting that sick elemental mount for keystone master. Otherwise do heroic raid, pvp cap at 1400 cr (everyone can reach that lol) for 207 ilvl item, world boss, vault item, weekly quest. They really want to encourage people to do all kinds of content but yet people are obsessed with “mah pvp, mah m+”.
Pvp players are crying that pve players destroy them. Oh so someone who does pve and pvp has an advantage over someone who chooses to play ONLY pvp. Tell me more.
M+ players are crying that groups get only 2 items per dungeon and yet you can do arenas, a bit of raiding, dungeons, weekly quests and world boss to get items and push higher keys.
These forums are seriously the worst. I feel like blizzard should pay me for posting these obvious posts. At this point I’m basically community manager working pro bono.
OKay, my bad. It turns out the end of dungeon baseline is one item not two. That’s even worse than having conduits counting as items.
Well its two if its timed.
But we knew this for months, and people seemee to be fine with it, but now when they actualy feel it they arent happy anymore.
I never really knew. That’s pretty stupid, people already leave if it’s not gonna be timed because of score, removing loot might make everyone leave.
Well at least untimed runs still counts toward great vault.
Even i had few untime runs which i wanted to leave so bad because they were like 20 mins overtime just because peoplr did mistakes they shouldnt even do in HC.
But yea, people leave a lot and fact that untimed run has less loot doesnt help it either
I really dont understand what you mean. If you do it in time (which is totally intended and doable for your own performance level) you get 2 items in a 5 man party. That means 40% of the group gets a loot. In raid its closer to 15% getting loot. Even if you dont do in time 20% of the party gets loot (1 of 5). People can cry how they did 5-10-15 m+ and got nothing, but thats just due to low numbers. Do 6×10^23 m+ runs and your loot chance will be around 20-40%, depending if you timed it.
Getting loot doesn’t mean getting the loot you need. So the chance of getting the item is not 20%, it’s like 2% and when you half the loot it’s like 1% chance. Like I only need the ring from DOS but there are more than a dozen items that drop for mages so chances of getting the ring are almost negligible. We just can’t afford to half just because we didn’t time the chest; not timing it is enough a punishment. We probably wiped few times, and missed the score. I don’t see why we need to be punished twice.
Ok to kinda put you into reality. Majority of players like giant majority of players enyoj having less loot. There is nothing more boring then being showered in loot. And i have really bad news for you. This change was done for long term health of the game which is far more important than pleasing some minor audience of entilted addicts. And for every one player what will quit becouse its alredy 4 week and he still isnt in full 220 gear there will be 5 more what will keep playing what would otherwise quit.
Also to all those “i spammed 15x mythic+ dungeons and got nothing”. Most people DO NOT PLAY THIS WAY. Most people finish up 2 maybe 3 mythic+ for entire week, do some pvp, some world content, maybe raid with guild and are happy with those 2-3 items they will get per week instead of being showered in 30+ items whoch only 2-3 of them are actualy usefull.
You just keep trying to play Shadowlands with BFA mindset and it fails. Also classic kinda showed Blizzard that there is giant audience what enyoj this type of desing and would be stupid to not try bring them over to modern game.

I killed one boss on normall, cause I thought, why not, untill group whiped on huntsman once and people where like ehh, not doing that. WB doesnt garantee a drop.
Sio I join a new group on a different boss. The lady with the red soaky circles and the wiring you need to do A very trivial fight, would do again after 1 wipe people left
Hate to burst your bubble but if you design a game based on progression for two decades, I dont expect half my content allready be invalidated due alternates being more rewarding that are essentiall ‘free’.
I remember rep gear frtom WOTLKM being far more rewarding XD

Lol, why do you feel entitled to anyone elses loot. Sure it’s customary and good practice to trade excess loot that is not an upgrade for you, but no one has to trade you anything if they don’t want to.
