M+ be able to replay your key

Hey,

I guess Blizzard should change M+ system. It’s boring as hell to grind key for having a chance to push your score. I mean, nobody want to play lower key than he had already do. Except for faming gear, help people or friend or doing your weekly.

In LFG, people always want to find high RIO than the key really need, as 2k6 RIO for a 21/22, because they know if we fail the key, they have to do lower then lower…

Result, we spend our time recruiting or looking for a key rather than playing, what a game.

Why does it bother Blizzard if we can push keys? Are they afraid that we will unsubscribe faster? Because spend my time to Oribos have the same result.

I hope they will fix M+ system.

Sometimes I ask myself the same question, I don’t even do my own keys anymore except on my lowest rio alt because I don’t have a choice.

When I do get invites I look at who else is being invited and I see people with enough rio and gear being declined for 15s by players who never even got KSM because these keyholders wanna be carried. Legit half of the keys I do the key holder is playing like absolute poop, barely doing 5k dmg overall meanwhile the other two dps are both above 7/8k…

Week 1 of S2 people were timing 15s with ilvl 225-230, now you can’t even get an invite to a 12 or 14 if you don’t have ilvl 240 it’s ridiculous.

i dont think i d blame item level. i d blame the sheer amount of dps applying. if its a “popular” key i take less than 30s to get 60 applications but i only have space for 2 or 3 dps. even if its a not so popular key the list fills really, really fast.

Usually I’d agree with you but it’s hasn’t been the case as much recently, at least not in my experience, for instance this morning for a 15 the key holder only invited people above 2150 rio, I got invited and immediatly looked who was in queue, barely 6 dps and half of them were between 2k and 2150 with a decent ilvl, the key holder didn’t invite any of them.

Anyway, the key lowering a level when there’s a deplete is not really bringing anything to the game and it makes it worse imo.

well, yes, i dont deny that key holder often want to get boosted and only invite geared people but +15s are valuable as they are needed for vault + ksm so i think its understandable when people only want to invite “the best”, whoever that might be.

its their key so its also their choice who to invite. its not like you can force people to only invite x, y or z.

would love to run low keys again to get my points to buy some thing at a vendor :D. m+ is just forced content to get gear since raid is not dropping anything

Sorry I drowned my previous point in another rant because I was angry about ppl not inviting, I was trying to say that on alliance side I’ve been seeing way less people queueing recently (for keys between 10 and 17), I tried to do my SD13 last reset on my DH, tried a few times to start the group for 3 days and I think less than 20 people applied total across all my atttemps.

oh yeah, i guess the difference between horde and alliance is quite noticeable.

but to be fair, last weeks affixes were absolutely terrible for sd, i avoided it like the plague. :joy:

Tell me about it, I tried to tank HoA12 twice with decent rio people (who clearly lacked experience in hindsight), both tries I was using metamorphisis and cheat death on CD as Vengeance DH, they were never using any CC or interrupts, fun times when casters enrage and hit you for 40k a bolt lol

Just no pls

Cheat death in cd. Just wtf

You know what Van Halen would sing? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Jump is my guess

Kek.

I outdamaged a dps in a mists key on my shaman, while healing.

Also joined a +10 on my hunter last week, me and the other dps was doing 7k each and then this 3.5k dps warlock just leaves the group because “group is bad, we won’t time it”.

We wiped because someone accidentally pulled another pack and he flamed us and left, lol.

exactly that tbh… if people get the gear they stop playing simple as that…

only a small portion actually stay to do it on alts.

im not defending mythic+ either i think it is a awful system. and does nothing buy breed toxicity into the game.

2.6k for 21 is a big Lie atleast if you are tank.

We were gonna do a mist 15 for weekly so we asked everyone what their favorite flavor of ice cream and breed of dog was. Any basic vanilla answers got the decline :joy:

Pugging is horrible as DPS in general. You’re not gonna get invited to 95% of groups. I sometimes try to get into a pug key for like 30 min without success before I just turn the game off and decide to do something more meaningful with my time.

Blizzard not allowing for any dungeon to be queued up but making the key system makes sense only for engagement metrics as people spend more time online waiting for a group to take them.

The best idea concerning M+ is to just sack off the key idea entirely and have a system in place where you can choose which M+ dungeon you want to do and like similar to torghast if you clear a 10+ key you are free to choose any level you want to do between 1 and 10.

Each dungeon would work this way so you would need to say time +10 for each dungeon to then repeat the dungeon.

It would be extremely liberating for players to choose what dungeon they want to do and create/join a group for it and I don’t think it would be too hard to implement this.

The only reason I could think this would not be implemented is a weak sauce excuse stating it’s all about the RPG elements of randomly getting different keys.

Exactly
