Blizzard is trying to teach players that not only healer is responsible for health of the party but is you with your health potions and your own defensives plus you not gonna believe me but most of the classes have their OWN selfhealing
Maybe is time to learn how to use them all instead of talking about how healers can’t heal something…
it’s not their resposibility that you die if you sit on your defensive
same apply to DPS players siting on their DPS cooldown because they think it’s better time to use is
I think another factor is blizz is trying to shift the M+ meta from gigapulls to “slow” and steady. The death timer is so punishing that it’s not worth making risky pulls and it’s all about staying alive to avoid random deaths (or worse) a wipe.
Nah, DPS need to learn to how to play the game. They’re the major source of depletes.
NW +8 as tank.

DPS gets targeted by hook. Misses hook.
I tell them to kill the abom because it’s gonna wreak havoc on us otherwise.
They don’t kill the abom.
They hook boss down.
We have 2 aboms.

We wipe when healer goes oom.
“HEALER WTF?”
No, wtf DPS, kill the abomination.
Then now:
Mage gets targeted by the heaving wretch on first boss in a +8 NW.
“Do I sac him? He’s not pressing defensives… Surely he’ll press a defensive and I don’t have to sac hi—” nope. He doesn’t press a defensive and gets oneshot.
Way too often it’s like you have to play the game for DPS, he had everything ready and doesn’t press a single thing.
They dont because back in SL you just used spear / spears there and abos were almost 1 shot with them , and then usually Boss was dead with bl before 3rd abo spawned.
And yes if you didnt kill him on tyranical and suddently Had 2 abos because DPS funneled Boss ? It was also nightmare to not wipe.
Good groups never seen this though because they just pumped Boss before 3rd abo spawned.
I nweak groups it was quite often happening.
To Fix NW blizz shoudl just bring back how weapons work in SL .all problems instant solved. Because that dungeon was literaly designer with those weapons in their form from that time on mind

So your exp is 12-13’s (New scale) and you want to quit the game, because you can’t do almost close to your max exp 3 weeks into the new expansion? Don’t you see how wild that is?
Of course +20 was “easier” back then, most people had already done lower keys for ages, being bonked and spanked multiple times to know the mechanics by heart… Multiple nerfes, changes, yadda yadda yadda
Calm down people, not everything has to be a race to world first, enjoy the time you play
did a test run how it feels to tank in +2 on my vengence at 600 itlv. it was more then fine although some stuff hurt when 2 out of 3 dps were doing 200k st and like 500 k aoe and everything took forever to die
ofc undergeared healer can find that unhealable at points.
i do belive that key pushers severly underestimate how brutal are low / mid keys atm for general population. and that huge huge problem for m+ in long run .
It is the result of all the “bad choices” people were raising throughout DF.
Nowadays, the things I noticed in this season:
DPS need to be mindful of their defensives (yes healpot is defensive, same as healthstone)
DPS need to up their game in terms of skill. The days of you just monekying your way like a tool, padding DPS meters on large pulls for quick dopamine, are over. If you need 3 minutes for TYRA SV boss on +9 then maybe you should not play DPS in higher end and stick with champion gear and delves. You are not important to demand anything else for your “performance”.
healers need to sometimes just anticipate and prepare the ramp, then just pump heals like crazy. No DPSing or CC game, thats DPS job in tight situations.
It is not a 2 but last seasons 10 or more even. And yes, i agree, the AOE that is unavoidable in some dungeons is a bit harsh. Unavoidable. Even if you are not standing near it you still get hit for huge amounts. 1/3 or more of your life gone in an instant, any further mistakes or other hits result in death if not personals were used. Healers have huge responsibilities now. So dps should not rely on us all the time to save their hides.
That is the difference between last expansion 2 and last expansion 10 though. The 2 we have now is actually a 10 or mroe even. I think it was the 0 that started at ten. I forgot.
The rework of M+ was a disaster in my opinion. They once again listened to the %1 who moaned about having to do a few extra dungeons to get into their space.
Probably pedantic of me but that massive pull wasn’t “needed”. You don’t “need” to do that mad stuff to time a +2. Great, it got done but you didn’t need to do it.
Remember, the original statement that seems to have become some kind of gospel that people are clinging to
I’d argue the overall healing req is 1/3 of that in a +2. It’s just gross exaggeration.
