Going in the direction the numbers show is not always the best choice.
Lemmings for instance…
I am glad they made the choice personally for reasons I stated. I simply wanted to voice a casual opinion against titanforging/warforging, the discussion is much more complex then casual vs competative gaming
We can only speculate that the reason they removed it and didn’t add it back in again with dragonflight is based on somesort of information they have access too.
Oh, I wasn’t in favor of titanforging neither. It’s just another layer of abnoxious RNG.
But, I don’t like Blizzard following spreadsheets to determine their next course of action.
It shows an incredible lack of creativity in what should be a creative industry.
yeah I do agree with that, not trying to sound like a shill but I do feel like dragonflight is a result of compounding feedback against things like borrowed power and endless grinds so it feels like its turning around again.
They’re not entirely there yet, but the first season of dragonflight definately feels like a step in the right direction again, to me atleast.
M+ never was that amazing to be with. Atleast not as how blizz intends it. To run the same dungeons over and over again a 1000 times an expansion.
I blame the m+ focus why we are not having proper dungeons anymore. No longer a thematic huge place to explore with secret bosses and the like. Its just a damned theme park ride at this point. Its all the same linear crap with just a different look.
Oh yeah I agree completely.
That´s the problem with Blizzard incentivizing to run the content a billion times. The content was never good enough to carry that kinda stuff.
My problem with Preach in the video is not that I disagree. I am an extremely contrarian person, so I am used to disagreeing with pretty much everyone.
The problem is the arguments made are… If I am feeling charitable… Made in very bad faith… And that is me trying to be as nice as I can be.
At least I have some inspiration for my next thread ;), I can thank Preach for that I guess.
I think the new dungeon in dragonflight are kind awsome - most of them at leasat. im 3100+ rio
Mistakes happen doesn’t mean you need to leave
Just ignore Lillith- IT has an obsession with others being not as good as IT, and ITS only arguments are everybody wanting boosts or free carries. The only reason IT is not on my ignore list is because i find IT amusing (in the loosest possible terms).
Heck, im even typing like IT now
That is what I was doing before M+… with no affixes, no increased difficulty, no score. And I still enjoyed.
At least you can choose to run a different one instead of wiping on the same raid boss for a whole night.
You failed at the first hurdle. You didn’t quote a wall of text to post a one line reply.
Also, talking mostly average/high keys there seems to be a trend of leaving the key on the first wipe.
For absurdities.
This week for example we were in ruby 18 and 15 minutes left on the clock we were at 1 pull away from the second boss. All people died on the flame guy but me. I was peachy waiting for the rest.
Warrior threw a fit saying its gg we can’t time it anymore and left.
the funk? 14 minutes for 2 bosses is more than doable. Maybe he was drunk but it’s not the first time.
Azure Vault 19 I pulled the three whelps with the 5 stone mobs (part of my new route of walking the roof to skip) and healer doesn’t even die… he just left because he thought it was a mistake…
He said he is not going to play the game until Blizzard changes on their design philosophy (which by the looks of it they may be doing so).
As far as, I know he does not make money out of wow, as all his wow-based youtube videos get de-monetized. Always was the case.
Your reasoning also does not make sense. He would, earn much more from streaming high end Final Fantasy content, yet he came back to wow, which is less popular than said game?
Kind of agree with your take on Preach, I watched that through and I think that at best his arguments are being made from a niche perspective with niche interests.
Honestly though, all the streamers are probably arguing their position with one eye of the effect it has on their view count. It’s probably a mistake to see them as anything other than entertainment anyway. A lot of them are looking like shills at the moment and that’s probably because their livelihood is somewhat bound to the game.
they’re not. they’re just used to play at a level and in a way that is not yours.
remember atal dazar? pro used to snap everything, average pug hardly did.
sure there are morons around, but a lot of times it’s just a matter of perspective.
Imo it always sucked. So… Nothing changed for me.
the funnies part is that im super ultra mediocre player which im openly admit.
and still in this mediocrity i have no problem to join and finish 18s on hunter and dh since last reset - and people rarely leave groups im in - and if they do its because whole group is severly underperforming.
and IT is because of autocorrect on my phone
Lol the current season that RE-USES 4 old dungeons is the best M+ ever was.
Yes.
because it means 90% of the entire dungeon pool arent completely wasted.
it means the Dungeon Loot tables actually change each season instead of farming the EXACT same items at a new ilevel for 2 years.
it means the dungeons Actually feel different to doing X Dungeon 11,000 times at different difficulties for 2 years.
Yes
Things changing is better then 2 years of identical results.
Eeeeeh.
I did these dungeons when they were current. I’m honestly very tired of SBG again, I didn’t like it in WoD and I don’t like it now. Temple I did even on challenge mode and the m+ version is even more static than the mop version, we don’t even get the sun boss now.
I hated halls of valor back in Legion and I still hate it now.
I don’t like court of stars either, the spy game just needs to go. Have a paladin? NP, ezmode. No paladin? Well, sucks to be you, now you’re gonna have to run around picking up all the clues.
