After a 4 month brake I came back to prepare my characters for the next raid. Now after I spent almost 400k gold on a 30 day gametime token, I’m happy to report that after 4 days I was unable to participate in any form of M+
I’m in 444. My useless score is 2590. Over this 4 days I’ve spent a combined time of like 2 hours of applying to +20 keys, and I didn’t get a single invite.
The players are at fault ofc in the first place, but blizzard doesn’t seem to care either to fix this mess. I’ve been playing WoW for 8 years. I have tons of AotC’s, and a CE. While my gear is not contentful bis, I believe it’s pretty decent. And with all that, I’m still unable to get anywhere.
So dear blizzard, and dear M+ players, please explain to me, how a new player is supposed to start playing and stick around? If you don’t have a full 5-man premade of friends, then playing WoW just becomes the most pointless, boring, and useless time you can spend in your life.
Now all of this is probably not new for any of you, ya’ll probably read hundreds of posts like this monthly. But after taking my longest brake from the game, and then coming back, this was a culture shock for me, in light of other games I’ve played during this brake.
And just to prevent any comments like these: No, I don’t want to grind my own key up to +20, which is currently at +6 after the break. No, I don’t have any friends right now who plays WoW. No, my guild is also on a break until the next tier. No, I don’t want to tank keys, I’ve done it enough in the past. No I’m not crying, I have other games to play if blizzard doesn’t want me to play their game. I miss that 400k gold tho
