M+ leaderboards? For new achi

Is there any plans to make any leaderboards at all for M+ dungeons/scores?

There is now a title given to top 0.1% of players, but how am I supposed to know how much score that is at all ?

  1. If you have to ask, you’re not meeting it.
  2. RIO is a close estimate.
  1.
  2. RIO doesnt know themselves what will count, and why should we rely on 3rd party website

RIO does have a leaderboard, you can extrapolate from that. Having an in-game leaderboard would present you with the same data.

Conveniently, rio has not only a leaderboard, but a cut-off page too:

https://raider.io/mythic-plus/cutoffs/season-sl-2/eu

There was never said by blizzard which characters will even count for this. Raider.io is counting every char that ever did any M+ afaik. And they themselves say on that link you posted that even they do not know if its correct or no, because there was nothing said about it by blizzard.

Isn’t it bad to have to rely on 3rd party websites in the first place? PVP has some poor official leaderboards at least, while M+ has nothing and we have to count on a 3rd party website. It was wowprogress before and raider.io now and those 2 were the only reason people pushed scores in previous seasons too.

Indeed, they did not. It’s reasonable to assume that - like for pvp - any character that ever did a key in the season will count. Characters that didn’t, will not, that would be absurd. Excluding characters that did run keys, would be similarly strange.

They could limit it to characters that have achieved KSM. Wouldn’t make much of a difference at the top, tho.

An official leaderboard wouldn’t make any difference whatsoever, unless they clarify how the cut-off is going to be calculated, at which point, rio will update their tracking accordingly. So there’s no need for Blizz to build anything. They should clarify the calculation, though.

Nope, it isn’t. Having 3rd party sites is great, because they can focus on one thing, and do it well. That’s much better than Blizzard trying to cover everything themselves.

We have wowhead, icy-veins, rio, wowprogress, guildsofwow, the various class discords, twitter, reddit - all useful resources, all 3rd party sites, some of them not even purpose-built for wow stuff.

Not sure why you’re calling him a clown, but
