imo this is the wrong kind of time gating. its boregating.

but its funny to me, that i am the selfish one because i dont wanna wait ages to play the game, just because some family man cant deal with being 5ilvls behind someone else.

I dont know how you did it in 6 hours but my char took till saturday afternoon to get to 70. And i played every full evening since release. 15 hours sounds way more reasonable to me. I also did a full M0 run and i am not at the ilvl you mention :grin:

I am totally fine with having another week for finding out professions and maybe start on an alt to level before the season starts.

simply m+ should not be open before raid … and raid should not be open before 14 days of opening … simply that ppl dont need to race and that everyone have time to prepare for raid and that is it

but obviously blizzard is dead set on making this expansion as failed as humanly possible.

  1. Give people 2 weeks to get access and level up at a casual level
  2. Tuning purposes
  3. Development cycle
  4. Give people enough casual time to explore and level alts
  5. Because they want to wait 2 weeks

I was 70, 29th in the morning already, i played basically every second free i had (work aside) and i still look forward quite a lot of things to do the next week to prepare for the season.

So i would say that for average people that cannot play that much, anything less than 2 weeks would make eveything super overwhelming.

If you have nothing else to do because you just leveled and hopped into dungeon that is on you, not on the rest of us

and if m+ was out tomorrow you would alter course 180 degree and do what exactly?

What I would do if M+ was out tomorrow would be to drop everything else to spam M+ on my main and get as geared as possible before the raid opens. Exactly as every other progress orientated raider would. It wouldn’t be fun, but it’s what I would do because I want to make the biggest contribution I possibly can to my guild’s raid goals.

its kinda fun that all you “i dont care that much i just play for fun and enjoy the open world etc etc” actually deep down care ALOT, i have not yet mentioned anything about behind “ahead” or “behind” others, i simply wanna play the actual game.

its only you so called “enjoyers” of the game that seem to care HEAVILY about behind “behind”

You being unable to get to 70 in the first week when it takes about 6 hours is not our problem.

I get that they didn’t want a christmas week release, and I get that they wanted to give people time to level, but there’s very little to do right now for a lot of us so M+ would be quite helpful :stuck_out_tongue:

Exactly because people enjoy a lot of different part of the game that they prefer to have more time at launch before season start

Where did I say that? I would suggest you quote me, but you won’t be able to because it’s something I would NEVER say.

I’m the kind of person who abandons open world the moment progressive instanced content opens because I’m driven to push myself as far as possible. I’m glad to have these 2 weeks to just chill, enjoy the open world and explore everything it has to offer. Once raid and M+ open, I’ll pretty much forget it exists.

I was suspended from the game for 10 days for authoritarian anti-Free Speech rules so this is great for people like me, gives a chance to catch up.

2 weeks at the start of expansion till season start is great thing
I don’t need to rush and i can lvl up more alts
Not everyone is 5x 70 lvl full 365+ ilvl day one :smiley:

Don’t listen to the elitists whining not being able to go go go the game and then complain there is nothing to do afterwards just to complain again it’s the vicious cycle of the forums.

Please let the crafting reagents, pots, potions are getting cheaper before push season opens. It is better they give us some time for preparations.

Single weapon enchantnent was 400k gold on AH last time. We need more time for supply demand balance for reasonable prices.

What is your hurry?

6 hours? maybe if you rushed trough it like a maniac and dont even bother to read any of the quests or story. At that point you might as well switch to diablo immortal instead of a rpg

And if leveling took 12 hours? or 20 hours? would that justify a 2 week wait for m+?
