M+ not even coming out tomorrow?

lol ? why stall it for that long when you literally level to 70 in 6 hours.

Because the majority doesnt sweat the game 20 hours a day & a huge chunk of us got alts to do :stuck_out_tongue:

6 hours is that 20 hours? 20x 14 thats 280 hours.

why are you talking about hours when the argument is against you.

stalling release of the actual game for 2 weeks in an expansion where you can level in 6 hours is just dumb.

Tuning. #10char

ye dont act like its for our own sake. who cares about tuning to this degree. stop letting 99.99% of people suffer for their cringe world first race.

I think it’s mostly so that we can get used to the new content, spend time doing open world stuff, level alts and professions, and just have fun before we get into the hardcore endgame push push push.

The only frustration for me is that M0 is only once per week and there’s no bad luck protection. When your main - the character you’re planning to raid with - gets hardly anything but alts get 372 gear thrown at them, that’s… demoralising.

i thought that was why we used to have 7 ish days before release.

are we just gonna keep expanding that time ? now its 14 days. next expansion we afk for a month untill m+ opens or ?

This is only the second expansion launch I’ve been active on, but I remember SL was the same - 14 days.

just increase the price of the expansion by 5-7 dollars if its that important to milk 14 days exztra sub money out of us.

That isn’t the reason. It’s for normal people who have lives and jobs and families, or just otherwise prefer to take their time.

it takes 6 hours to ding 70 lol. if that takes you 14 days then sure bro.

Not everyone ignores most of the content & get b00st3d at m+ with 300 ilvl

As much as i would have loved for m+ to release tomorrow, i think Blizzard is going the right way with taking it slow. Yet, i don’t like that m+ and raid releases at the same time.

ye it takes 14 days to ding 70 and do a few heroics and m0 with friends. if you are not 360+ ilvl atm you simply just dont care or dont play the game.

im not saying you cant like that its delayed 14 days, but dont justify it with ā€œnormal people couldnt make it in timeā€ thats just a lie.

World quests once every 3 days so that people who don’t log into the game don’t feel lost. M+ after two weeks so people don’t feel like they’re behind other players. I wonder when they will add a limit of 5 M+ per day because someone, God forbid, will get dressed faster than someone logging in once a week.

No-one said ā€˜normal people couldn’t make it in time’. I said ā€˜normal people’ who have other things they MUST do besides play WoW don’t want to spend most of their spare time push push pushing to get ready for M+ to open. People who have busy and stressful lives generally want to take it easy and relax in their spare time, and not create more stress and pressure for themselves.

If you’re too selfish to accept waiting another 7 days so that everyone can enjoy the new expansion, I’m not sure what anyone can say to you.

indeed lol.

It took you two days to ding 70.

The reason M+ is delayed is so that people don’t feel forced to no life the game to get M+ ready.

yes because i didnt rush it at all. which is a good thing, im not debating that there shouldnt be the 1 week delay on m+. and despite what you make it out to be here, i dont play this game 20 hours a day. no one does that.

but claiming that you need 14 days to get m+ ready in an expansion that takes 6-10 hours to level depending on your playstyle is just silly.

i have leveled alt where each level almost took 25-40 minutes. depending on dungeon luck and queue.

When they cook up a new expansion, their first question is how long can we stretch this content out for to keep player retention, not because we don’t want to burn players out. This is why everything is time-gated in WoW - they recently made daily quests bi-weekly.
