Revamping the Mythic+ System: Drop-Down Levels and Keystone Depletion Feedback
The current Mythic+ (M+) keystone system, while iconic, has its flaws.
Proposal: Replace Keystones with a Drop-Down Menu
• How it Works: Players select their desired M+ level from a menu, similar to other games’ systems like Delves.
• Account-Wide Progression: Unlock higher levels as you complete lower ones, accessible across all characters.
• Why It’s Better:
• Easier to start and group up for dungeons.
• Encourages alt play and reduces repetition.
• No need to hunt for specific keystones.
Rethinking Keystone Depletion
• Current Issue: Keystone levels drop if you fail to time a run, which feels outdated and punishing.
• Proposed Fix:
• Remove depletion entirely—retry at the same level without penalty.
• Allow players to adjust dungeon levels up or down as needed.
