That’s because you dont need them for % . And you have 3/4 of room to do the fight .
And what will this help you if someone stands unluckily and you’ll wipe wasting those oh so precious seconds saved by pressing your M+ 25 let’s cheese that trash rhetoric in a pug, where you can never be certain of other players capability? In the first two weeks of a new season mind you.
You are defending tanks disregard for worst case scenarios because you obviously also are of the opinion that everyone else in the group is just there to live up to a tanks unrealistic expectations. You will never erase the risk of players that aren’t as perfect as you would like them to be. This not only goes for dps but heals as well. If you pull the whole squad in a week with bursting and the heal can’t cope, it is an unnecessary wipe thanks to “git gud” mentality. It could have been easily avoided by playing it safe, so why not just do it? Ego? Because it surely wasn’t team spirit.
Agree, but the system is terrible, and last season you had a god comp, so the only one you should blame here is Blizzard, not the Players, who play their systems and designs. If you have 4 months of one comp being extremely meta like it was, guess what people will do next season.
Have you tried action targeting? You can use console variables to narrow the cone, so it can range from looking in the mob’s general direction to having to aim the camera directly at it.
Thats because it is like that.
VDH are completely broken in terms of group controll. Paladin is strong aswell.
Rest cant really compete.
Also, the issue is you can choose which stranger you play with in rated content. If people could do that in League of Legends, almost nobody would choose players that are off-meta. Just how the system works in wow. High risk for group leader and freedom of choice, which random to invite. Not sure why people blame players on a grand scheme.
Tanks this season are really balanced. When I go to raider io website, I see that all tanks are represented in top keys. Well DH and DK are slightly ahead. But for these +12 keys it doesn’t matter at all.
Yeah I’d rather prefer a paladin or dh tank too due to not having interrupt available myself. Currently you would always want a dh tank + dh dps in every key.
Disagree, VDH defintily needs a nerf
You know people pug +25s too, don’t you? Not quite this early in the season, but certainly within a couple of weeks.
No idea what you’re trying to implement with your comment but ok. Has absolutely no relation to what I was talking about.
Implement? What do you mean?
I’m responding to your suggestion that high key strats are a stupid idea in pug groups by pointing out that people pug high keys. How are they supposed to time them if they don’t use appropriate strats?
*Imply
Happy now?
I’m not talking about +25 keys though because the majority of people won’t reach that level in - week one - of the new season. And please don’t come up with “some people do though” now, because I clearly wasn’t talking about the 1% having their elite teams but the average mere mortal in pugs. Yes there is a difference and it’s not as if you couldn’t fathom it. You’re simply trying to defend being ignorant and playing without foresight as a tank because “I’m better than y’all and either you step up your game or I’m ruining the key”. There is a new flag option about this, just to let you know. It’s called “intentional decline” (exact English wording might vary) and it’s not only meant for rated pvp. Because if you come up with a playing style like this it’s basically anti-social behaviour. You’re not team playing. You’re dictating your way and with full intention risk ruining the run for everyone in the group just because you couldn’t assert your will. Even for those in the group who didn’t do anything wrong.
One more reason to not ever speak in pugs to not give them even a chance to troll report you just because they Play like trash and want a Free carry
Well it certainly matters to me if as tank i csn prevent cluless dps in groups from dying because they dont know where their interupt button is just by placing sigil of silence or using bell on important trash pulls
Early in season those are real blessing imo
I play with 2 of my friends one is disco priest one is havoc DH i’m ret
And the most success we had on our m+ journey was playing with monk and DK.
There is no meta tank at the moment. Look at the RIO leaderboards. All tanks are present on the first page and doing +26 keys.
I’ve tanked 18-20s on VDH and prot pala this season, and I prefer prot pala. VDH sigils are powerful, but they have a fairly long CD, so you can’t just spam them like prot pala can do with Avenger’s Shield to CC casters.
There is no meta if you have a team, there is a meta is you are playing with pugs.
Try to play as a guardian Druid and join a group, I will see if your opinion stays the same.
I got to 2.6 yesterday, and got frustrated that I couldn’t get invites to 19s, (I did 19++s in first week of the season for the matter of fact) while I have completed most of 20s.
So yeah there are fotm tanks.
Hopefully will get the 3k and go offline or passively play a dps.
When i read this, I just think people who don’t say hi in order being not reported are actually should be most likely reported for being toxic, leaving for no reason, etc. I always talk in pugs and I only pug, how I’m still here? I also kick people from my group who don’t say hello/don’t get to the location by themselves etc. (Same w husband and he is sometimes really harsh, as well as people he play with. Yesterday saw 2 dh tank and DPS call each other “r…rds” for like 5 minutes before the group got disband)
Trying to time a key is anti-social behaviour? That’s a new one.
