M+ Reward Structure

the neck is just an example here’s another given how awful broodtwister mythic is to do once a guild has killed it there’s like 0 chance the rl or the raid grp as a whole will want to reclear to it regardless of how many item or bis items their raiders many need

But that is not an Vault issue. That is a Raid Tuning issue dont you think ?

If your XYZ reasons (valid or nor) you deliberatelly choose to not kill bosses, then its only fair you get ZERO credit in the Vault.

I ask, why do you have a raid lock-out ? Why cant you do 1 raid, clear the bosses up to Broodtwister and then use an alt to pick up the save where you killed Broodtwister and progress those bosses. This is something that maybe you want changed.

Dunno. It seems counterproductive to do something like that. Because the bosses after Broodtwister are also really hard. And having your raid under-geared is a bad idea IMO.

Most guilds aren’t extending. Broodtwister gets exponentially easier with gear.

sadly because the mythic raid system was designed with the id system so you cant mix ids and skip bosses, heck my guild almost got screwed over when they killed rashnan on sunday, as i was told i could pug on the wednesday then the team ended up with only 18 when they were progging on brood for the 1st time due to irl emergencies, if mythic was on the same lockout system as hc and normal that would be great but its not…

Yeah but why ? I still dont get what is the purpose of limiting things like this.

There is no reason for 10+ to not drop 623 mythic gear. I would be fine with 12+ too but right now once i’m done upgrading my two rings my only possible upgrade comes from vault which is just bad design.

Mythic raiding shouldn’t have an ID. The only reason is there in the first place is to avoid world first race abuse with split raiding. Just remove it after raid finder opens idk.

You mean besides the fact its repeatable and orders of magnitude easier than everything but the first mythic boss?

There is. The most major one is that it would rapidly de-valuate Mythic raid loot.

Then this particular raid leader is just dumb. Kyveza doesn’t require Ovinax rekill. So you just reclear 4 bosses and start progress on Kyveza, if you think that Ovinax rekill costs too much time.

As I said, it doesn’t have to be 10. You could make it 12-13 or whatever you wish. You would still get only a fraction of the of playerbase doing that. The amount of time for practice and preparation you need for a 12+ is comparable to a mythic boss.

The only advantage is that you don’t need an absurd amount of people and 1 to 3 raiding nights.

I highly doubt that since most of bis item are from raid anyway, like the rare drops and some trinkets. Everything else is interchangeable.

Let’s say something like…

The first two 12 or higher keys you time (Different dungeons) a week give you a 1/5 chance to loot a 623.

First two 13 or higher, 626.

First two 14 or higher, 629.

First two 15 or higher, 632.

8 dungeons, 1/5 chance per, scaling in difficulty. Not infinitely farmable.

I’d also probably put it on the 0.5 patch of each tier just to not massively upend gearing pace and raid tuning, still plenty of time to get max ilvl and push keys given you’ve got the whole rest of the season.
