M+ with PUGs is dead

Another day, another thread till the devs see what they did to m+ !

They killed weekly max vault +15 for normal players completely. Sometimes I just want to do one key per week with some friends and thats it.

DF is focusing too much on the 0.1%. Maybe they should stop simping for Liquid and echo and start listening for once.

Time is valuable, even for non try hards dear Devs. If a group of players decide to gear up through vault it is equally time consuming as forcing through myth and m+ in the first couple of weeks.

Revert the scaling for higher keys and stop this bs. M+ is sickening right now.

So you are asking for same reward for 1 hour gameplay a week as players who invest insane hours a week, play and push 10 levels higher keys than you and raid mythic weekly. Sorry but this reward change should have been live 3 xpacs earlier.

M+ participation speaks a different story. It’s annoying. They can definitely design this game around the 0.1% but I highly doubt that this will pay their bills.

I don’t really mind as so many people already stopped playing in my fl due to this messed up season that I’ll probably follow anyways.

Yup, there was nothing wrong with a +15 Vault being the max. If you’re investing insane hours per week that’s your prerogative, you’ll be mythic geared well before someone doing a weekly 15. The reward for investing more time is getting the gear way before anyone else, and being most powerful for the rest of the tier.

It would take them months to get the ā€˜same reward’. It’s a videogame, it isn’t supposed to be designed for no lifers who play it 20-40 hours per week every week.

theres nothing wrong with it being 20 or 25. Stop being an entitled manbaby. Not everything is meant for you

If they won’t do anything about it I’ll just call it a day for the next season. People must vote with their wallet once again. If they decide to design content for the 0.1% they have to deal with only HoF guilds paying the rent of their employees.

Why do you feel like you NEED the best gear in the game if you aren’t doing the hardest content?

Please do it sooner rather than later.

TBC-WOTLK where it was raid or die…and to lesser extent PvPing. Where maybe 1% even saw HC LK…let alone killing it. Yet its considered WoW’s golden age…according to the forum warriors.

It’s not about need… It’s a game not a survival tour. Why does every season need to feel like a torture?

I complained about many things and as they changed most of the annoying stuff already, I know it’s not just me and most of you forum trolls are wrong. Yes, I’m looking at you, clownish priest.

So I’ll continue providing feedback till the dungeons are nerfed even further until the so called ā€œbaselineā€ the dev in naguuras interview was talking about becomes a real thing.

I’m enjoying myself. Some keys still feel a smidge above the bar, namely HoV and RLP last boss.

Why would you even need max ilevel gear if you are doing only +15?

Game should be about fun. No one cares if casuals get max gear as well after months of vault gearing.

Hmm not sure about that. If I entered a raid or dungeon and a casual who only do 15 had same gear as me I would not enojoy the game. Why have gear at all if everyone can get max ilevel…

There was also nothing with it being 15 too. Weird argument.

This allows deep insights into your personality tbh… Majority of people don’t want to steal the fun from RWF raiders or minmaxers.

So you’re saying that you can only have fun, if you can look down on someone? :thinking: If you need this to push your ego you can still get a tattoo of your rio score.

It say a lot about you as well that want free gear for everyone, even tho you dont play the game on a decent level. Wow has never worked liked that, for a reason…

Same irl, work hard you should have more money than someone who dont.

You need to learn how to read. My take was that I see no difference in terms of try harding in the first two weeks and getting max gear slow and steady over time by one weekly vault in a game where gear is no long term achievement. Most of it is worthless the moment a new patch hits the game. I’m totally up for transmogs, titles or mounts for your ā€œhardā€ work.

Also wow has worked like that during BFA and legion and it was nice. SL was a first step back an they’ll fail miserably with DF is they continue this wildstar path.

Many players do +15 during 1st or 2nd week of a patch that last 5-6 months.

So in terms of gear you have nothing more to strive for after 1 week of gameplay. You already did max needed for highest ilevel gear? Some people like the progress of gear to last a bit longer.

You can start by doing your 15s as you are doing. That will give 415 ilevel gear. When your party have 415 gear im sure you can work your way up to 20s.

The way you are thinking, you might aswell give max rewards from +5 or +10 dungeons, because some might say 15 is to hard.

And you are right. Even if not required for the content, players should be able to obtain max gear. Because this is what wow is all about. getting stronger. no matter if necessary.
