Hello,
I’m completly unable to play comfortably retail on my 2018 MacBook Pro because of one weird thing happening only when playing Retail. I play Classic as well without any issues at all.
My problem is that the game is very foggy and blurry if I don’t hold my right click on. Also if I hold the right click but don’t move my mouse, the little pointer symbolized by a hand doesn’t disappear.
I really want to buy Shadowlands but I can’t play in these conditions. I’ve tried maxing every graphic setting and the problem doesn’t disappear.
Any idea how I can fix that ?
Cheers
Did you check the render scale in WoW settings? Maybe it’s mismatched your display ratio or is set way off?
On Mac you have two different way to manage screen resolution. First of, be sure to have it on “by default screen” not on “scale” in “system preferences > screen”.
Second in wow you can manage the resolution of the game (wich is based on the resolution set in Mac OS) By default it will be the resolution of you system (full screen windowed) Don’t change it. You have a second option who is the 3D render scale of the game. for the best rendering it have to be set on 100%.
Try all this.
Thanks ! Somehow putting the highest resolution and scaling down the interface solved the problem
