Hello, I am having problems with playing the game on my iMac (Late 2015, Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200, macOS Catalina).
When the game runs on a resolution of 1920x1080, small, horizontal lines appear all over the screen. These lines appear when there is any kind of motion including opening/closing windows (such as settings by hitting the Esc key). When I am in character selection, these lines appear simultaneously in front of my character and anything else in the background that is moving.
I realise this a problem with the graphics driver or the graphics card itself.
This issue is only resolved when I lower the resolution or enter windowed mode (which also lowers the resolution).
I have also noticed that when I go into “Settings” and select the “graphics card” option, my graphics card is displayed as “Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 (Low Power)”. There are no settings on my Mac’s Energy Preferences to change this and I am unsure if it is normal.
I have ran the Mac’s diagnostics and found no problems.
I also did a full factory reset to my Mac and re-installed battle.net and World of Warcraft from scratch.
I have found no graphics settings apart from the resolution that do anything.
The game was running normally before upgrading to Catalina.
Are there any possible solutions?
Thank you.
