First let me prelude this by saying I am no expert with computers!
I have an iMac desktop which I believe has sufficient specs to run WoW as it runs other games. However on WoW I am getting about 5 FPS.
The graphics settings don’t seem to make any difference to FPS. I can put them all to minimum or maximum and the FPS is exactly the same. Does this suggest it is some kind of software issue or a bug as opposed to the hardware struggling?
I have checked activity monitor for the reported “kernel_task” bug and this does not seem to be the case for me - kernel_task is only using 1.7% CPU.
Specs:
Processor: 3.4Ghz i5
Ram: 16GB 2400MHz DDR4
Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 4GB
Hard drive: 256GB SSD
I also have a laptop with WoW installed on it which has vastly inferior specs to my Mac and it plays WoW just fine with respectable FPS.
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions (other than buy a PC 
)
