I can’t update the game (latest patch) I’ve tried re-installing, using the ‘scan and repair’ function, followed the steps on the troubleshooting guide, opening a ticket, but I’m unable to proceed.
The patch just get’s stuck on ‘Initializing’ for an hour, then stuck downloading at 0% - I left it overnight and woke to zero progress.
I’ve been at it 3 days and at my wits end. Last time I asked for technical assistance on here I didn’t get a reply so it kinda shows how desperate I am.
There is a workaround. Pausing and Resuming the download sometimes has the same result but I achieved faster results using this process. Might still take a while…
Hey, just saw your post I am mac user too having same problem. What is working for me, use activity monitor, force shut batttle net and ‘agent’. After shutting both of them restart it should work.

After doing the work around (and many others posted on Reddit) I managed to download the patch, however the game will not launch…
Day 4 the saga continues…
Did a ticket and after 2 days waiting they just told me to go to the troubleshooting section or post on forums - which I’d already done lol
I think it’s a sign, I wasn’t really enjoying TWW anyway.
