MacOS Command key problem

I can’t bind my command key, and I can’t use it as control (as was in classic). What I do wrong? Every time when I want to bind cmd key, I see “Can’t bind mousewheel to actions with up and down states”

Had a similar issue here in Linux. I’m now just using the normal US layout to bind my keys. When I don’t play WoW I switch back to US international.

Could you pls explain how I can do this?

Im also experiencing the same problem, hope someone gives a solution. I have so many keys binded with cmd modifier which will make it unplayable for me…

Hi. I found one temporary solution. Just change action on cmd modifier. System preferences => Keyboard => Modifier Keys => change cmd to control.
Hope Blizzard will fix it.

Hello,

How did you do that? After doing as you said, it still doesn’t work and ignores the Cmd/Ctrl key. When looking into the binds section in game and trying to create my binds once again with this key, it says the same thing the OP had: “Can’t bind mousewheel to actions with up and down states”.

Still unplayable for now.

Hi, honestly I don’t know why you can’t do this :frowning: for me, it works correctly. It changes cmd action to control action, sounds really weird that it’s not working for you :frowning:

This means everything on my computer is backwards and i can’t ‘CMD-tab’ to switch apps etc.

Blizzard (last patch, pre-TBC) had an excellent option in Keyboards which was ‘switch CMD to Control’. Why was that removed??

Bump!

Please add this option to swap command key to control key as it was in classic. Why did you get rid off this! :frowning:

I found a fix for this. Bartender’s keybinding system ignores this. And you can bind stuff to Command just in WoW, instead of changing modifiers for your whole mac.

FIXED with a daily updates!!

Thanks to Bartender or are you talking about another add-on?
