Desperate to improve my dps in affliction I’m thinking of using macros to spell, which until now I didn’t even though I know many use them, so I’m very ignorant on the subject, sorry if I ask stupid questions. I seem to have read that you can also use them to spam dot without changing target or did I get it wrong? I found this: #showtooltip/ cast [@ mouseover, harm] Agony; [harm] Agony.
However, once applied it didn’t make any difference to spelling normally. Did I make a mistake or did I not understand something?
It’s a mouseover macro. You don’t need to target, you can just hover your mouse over the nameplate and it applies the spell.
mmm no, it doesn’t work or probly I don’t understand the mechanics. If I do the macro then I pair a button, then click it to activate the spell and hover the mouse over the target? but nothing happens lol
You had a space between / and cast

Yes, it does. I tested it and it works as it should.
