Macro that presses alt+R

Looking for a macro that presses alt + R.

A macro that presses keyboard buttons (or simulates it)? I don’t think that’s possible. Besides, making one button simulate multiple keystrokes could be against the ToU (not sure, but sounds shady).

What is the reason behind it? What does ALT + R do for you?

To clarify: macros do not press buttons, they use items or spells and can be given a few limited conditions.
Whatever alt+r is, if you tell us both the spell and target (condition), this makes it possible to think about a macro.

It’s the keybind set to bring up a radial list of raid markers in an addon. I want to be able to bring up this list with one press of a mouse button.

Actually, having thought about it, I imagine I can just change the keybind in the addon settings. I wasn’t thinking very clearly when I posted this last night form the library.

Hehe  that sounds a little better ^^.

There is a macro/line that can bring up the Raid-markers in a tiny list otherwise. But if you can just swap the keybinding, that’d be most likely the easiest solution indeed ^^.

It’s kind of pointless. If you make a macro you have to bind it to a key or key with a modifer key. So you’ll have to press something anyway. Wouldn’t it be easier to just change the bind of whatever alt+R does to what the bind you would like to use for that macro?

Also yeah, just like people mentioned you can’t make macros pressing specific key combination.

The point wasn’t not to have to press anything. It was to have to press something different: just one mouse button, rather than the more awkward alt + R.

Well whether it’s easier or not depends on whether or not it’s even possible to make a macro to do it, but as I said in my last reply, changing the keybind in the addon should be a straight forward way to do it.
