Hunter, Warlock and Shaman seem to have won hard with the likes of Explosive Shot, Chaos Bolt, Molten Blast. Mage, meanwhile, has a very boring chest slot ( Burnout, passive crit ), Living Flame is 1 min CD and the other spells don’t look all that exciting either.
Drinking every 2 mobs while a hunter ( really most other classes ) just keep pulling, now with 30% more damage compared to Vanilla. I already dread World PvP, considering we can’t get into Frost talents properly and we have no Ice Barrier.
I have not. Pretty tedious to considering my rotation is exactly what I would use in normal Classic except I have an extra 15% crit while Locks have Chaos Bolt.
I’m pretty sure the dev team will continue to monitor classes and make adjustments in the future. They’ll expand to the level 40 band in the near future, which no doubt will add new content for Mages and be an excellent time to take into consideration feedback such as this.
Idk man. I feel like people expect to have like 100 new spells and a complete new playstyle at lvl 25, like this is where the game ends. I leveled my mage to 25 and I’ve been enjoying my arcane spec.
It always was the worst class to level and now they introduce even more tanks to take away the only benefit of being a warrior.
Why did they buff every class except for warrior? Maybe give it something like the death knight have (which is how warrior should have been from Vanilla). Or at least keep it S-tier tank for the later 40 man raids.
It’s called Retail, if you don’t like how Classic plays and wish it wasn’t like that just go and play Retail, you have exactly what you wish for right there waiting for you.
The warrior is far from being the best DPS at the moment, but above all, his runes are all… boring. Only warbringer might bring some joy, but to get it is hell.
No addition to gameplay, no fun, no discovery.
The only hope will be something new in phase 2. But they are not the only ones in this case, a lot of runes are just boring, like for the hunter who does not see his gameplay evolved since Vanilla/classic.
Blizzard is just lazy, incompetent and has obviously lost all its creativity.
Actually, mages have to be nerfed instead. With their current healing capabilities, they can easily solo kill (and heal on the same time) more than 5 mobs, which is plain stupid.
I play as a warrior and it’s dogpoop bad right now (yes, I am 25), you get kited, you get shotted by rogues, 0 cc… either wait for phase 2 (when they raise the level cap to 40) or just don’t play it at all.
F off with this crap. It’s objectively bad design to drink 30 seconds every time you kill 2 mobs. THis has nothing to do with Classic, it’s just horrible design.
Mage is 50% behind on DPS in BFD, and it’s because they go OOM after 5 casts. That’s not okay and needs balancing. And if you look at a Hunter doing 200 DPS and a Mage doing 100 DPS and you think that’s okay you’re a god damn troll.
You know, after 2 runs of Vanilla of being the only viable Tank and #1 dps by far, I’d really enjoy it if warriors get the druid treatment for SoD: Being only ever brought as a one of per raid and being worse at every role they can fill then all others that fill that role.
And yet there are thousands of people quite happily playing Classic since it re-launched and accepting that that is just how it was and how it is. You have 2 choices, you either deal with it or you don’t. Running to the forums is essentially looking for an echo chamber to sit in and for people to pat you on the back and agree with you.
Yeah. I think they didn’t want to add too much tanking ability to Warrior in order to help evening out other tank classes with Warrior. If Warrior got as much improvement for tanking as the other classes, they’d still be by far the most viable tank, instead of allowing other classes a chance to be viable and competitive.
