How do mages manage to heal so much in arenas without eating? (I havent played in like 5 years), and i see them use cauterise so much?? i thought it gives a debuff? one came out of an egg with full hp?
3 shields for 15K absorb + conduit which convert the 20% from the absorbed dmg to hp

The egg is their covenant ability that allows rebirth. You can cancel it by destroying his egg.
So they deleted 1 absurd mechanic from DH - when he did PvE rotation and h2full themself and gave another tones of absorb and healing themself thru the lost absorb by dmg. Kekw. This devs are legends. 
cause fire mages just like sub rogues are the new school shooter class thats why they get things other classes can’t have cAuSE iT wOuLD MAke It UNbalAncEd get just be glad blizzard haven’t decided to give them a pet and a nature school CC ability
it’s fine that mages are this tanky, they make up for it by having insane cc, burst damage, utility and mobility
