Mage set.... You joking right?

Legit no mage like the naxx set, we have mages rerollling, raid leaders hate the 10s prepull. And now you want us to afk 12s?

Remove the Evo meta, it’s bad and just boring,

Mages on trash feels so bad, we goes from being a piller in aoe to the worse,

New sets ideas or straight up reworks,

Fire: living bomb, changed so if target dies with a bomb on it, it blows up,
Hotstreak: should make flamestrike do X more dmg and instant other effects Make blast wave bigger range, knock back and more dmg,

So you have more things to use your hot streak for, makes it more fun and you might not want 2x cloaks to get frozen orb.

Sets could ignite lasts longer, could be 1 tick or 2
Pyroblast cast increase your next flamestrike range and DMG by X % and makes it instant or 50% cast.
Living bomb spread
Living flame moves 1000%faster and do 200% more DMG and can crit. But is now frost fire dmg

I haven’t played frost alot, but could be plays some frozen orb, like follows the mage, faster, more DMG, if it hits frozen targets in lowers the cd by 0.x
If frozen orb is up blizzard is a ground effect like hellfire,
Icelances hits multiable targets with frozen orb up
Brain freeze could increase CoC range and DMG, could make blizzard larger, instant ground effect

Over all I just want more speed on mage, less crpg long cast time wizard style, more crazy sorceress style,

Please reconsider Evo, I would love to never use it or make it able to cast and move, make it 4 less seconds cast time, with 8 stacks. Not 12,

I haven’t played healer so can’t commend sadly.

Evo meta needs a re-design urgently. Increasing the time is the complete opposite of what the majority of players want and express (mage discord, reddit, forums, …).
Also having a 45s window where we do 100% of our dmg - and afterwards drop by 37,5% is increadibly unrewarding - not even to mention that we need afterwards now 12s during a fight to stand still - dont dps - take 0 dmg - to re-evo.

Please reconsider the scarlet enclave tier bonus for DPS mages.
I haven’t seen a single positive thing about playing around evocation in Naxx, it’s not enjoyable for mages themselves or the people playing with them.

I haven’t looked at too many suggestions, but if we must stick with evocation, getting the full damage buff while having evocation be a shorter channel duration ~2-4s would be a lot more manageable.
Alternatively, split it into two parts, after channeling evocation, our next offensive ability/spell grants us the invoker buff.

Someone will probably cook up some better suggestion, just please, we don’t want to be channeling evocation for 12 seconds in order to deal damage, mages and our raid members don’t want to be playing around that at all.

Also, please look at ways to make spellfrost frost builds more viable, looking at the new items on the PTR, and the current evocation buff, SFB playstyles aren’t looking too bright.
The brain freeze proc chance increase on the tier bonus is so out of touch, no one except some amount of frost healers are playing that.

Evo meta is just not fun gameplay in any sense of the word from the most casual player to the sweatiest player its fun for no one. Please rethink and rework this set.

Better make living flame great again. Add set bonus that increases its duration to 20 seconds (as it was on p1/p2 but now as set bonus). Evo set bonus is trash gameplay.

completely agree with everything here. I have absolutely loved mage in SoD and even in p7 but I am lucky enough to be a raid lead and can enforce the 8 second pull timer but I know others are not as lucky as I am. Losing 45% damage buff because people can’t wait 8 seconds is awful, or god forbid you have to reapply it mid fight and a mechanic happens, and it’s just going to get even worse with this tier set.

The 4 set is essentially blank text for every mage spec, buffing runes that are either not used or only used by arcane healers.

Please Blizzard, reconsider this tier set and the tier set of other classes because no one wants this potentially final phase to end on such a bad note.

Agreed. I really hope they will take a minute to reconsider other possible tier bonuses for Mage in P8. I dont think it will take alot to find some alternatives that are more interesting or engaging.
