Mage tanks

So after phase 2 launch I’ve tried doing some Stockades, RFK and SM GY. In every case, we got some mage in the team that just runs around pulling as many mobs as he can creating complete chaos that is completely uncontrollable and they’re face-tanking 5-15 mobs at a time.
I dunno if it’s that the healing is too good, or that mages are too tanky, but it seems completely game breaking that the “glass cannon” class can just pull 4 packs of mobs and not even kite them. I’m not sure of their specs n stuff, unfortunately. I never looked into the mage stuff for SoD, but i can say as a tank, it definitely removes all sense of purpose or enjoyment from participating in a group with them. I can’t wrap my head around how it could make sense that a mage should be able to survive doing the amount of stupid sh*t I’ve seen 'em pull over the last couple days.
The most powerful group composition atm would literally be 5 mages. Changing any of those 5 mages into another class would make the team worse.
If this is your intention, great job. But if your intention was not to create World of OPmagecraft, then maybe having 10 elites hitting a clothie at the same time should kind of kill them?

you know that Locks are solo leveling on dungeons ?

I never minded people soloing 100 mobs at once, but at least make it make sense. If a mage can blizz + nova kite 100 mobs, or a hunter can kite a raid boss or tank palas / warlocks aoe tanks sure. They’re at least playing to their strengths and tactically avoiding their weaknesses.
At the moment we’re fast approaching retail levels of zero chance of death game play. Which if you’ve tried a dungeon in retail feels completely pointless and un-engaging.
Blizz said they would scale up the world to account for the new increase in abilities / power; That’s what i’m missing here.
