I really want the magetower back so tanks(Paladin and Warrior) can get the flain which was dropped there.
I am desperate to get it and Johanna has it in Heroes Of The Storm and Diablo so why not let it drop in Mage tower or make a questline so we who wants it will be able to get it.
You know there is a change that mage tower will not reward the weapons.
Blizzard promised they wouldn’t bring them back, I’m not sure if they will handle the backslash form lie to community if they bring them back.
Then what is the point of bringing it back if you can’t get what dropped there?
Then it is really pointless to bring magetower back.
There are some thoughts that the new T20 recolor set will be the reward.
But there is no official answer about that.
Plus we don’t even know if mage tower will back, it was just a datamined spell.
I’d say due to the multiple datamined spells it’s very likely that MT will come back in some form.
why are they bringing it back? no idea, I’d rather have a new MT-like challange with new rewards, styled around this expansion, wich incidentally would fit flail weapons quite well imho.
To add a solo challenge in the game as content. There is 0 reason to NOT add content in a game.
Blizzard stated that the artifact appearances would be unobtainable after patch 7.3, so it is kind of a lost cause to ask for them to return (like they do with gladiator/aotc mounts and the rest).
On the other hand, it is totally FAIR GAME to add NEW tints of the same appearances (and keeping the old 4 unobtainable).
I think it was a bit of a running nostalgia for MT-like content which Blizzard didnt plan for so that was a quick way to score some points.
I would love the opportunity to more of these appearances again, but there would probably be backlash from the “muh exclusivity” donkeys so I doubt it
We can still live in the hope, but nothing is confirmed by Blizzard itself yet. Just to wait and see, I do hope they bring it back, even if it’s a recolored version of the appearances
Cause people have been asking for someting fun like the mage tower to be in the game.
I didnt play legion so have never done MT, but alot of people talk about how much they enjoyed it and how fun it was, so i guess they’ll do it cause its fun. (Even if no fun is allowed in wow 
)

if mage tower comebacks, then all removed content should comeback too. No reason to hold anything back.
I have plenty of vanity items/mounts/xmogs and so what? I wish that everybody could get anything what they want if THAT WILL MAKE THEM HAPPY.
Mage tower skin-weapons were designed for that expansion since it was themed around artifact weapons. I hope they don’t bring those visuals back since it was advertised as a limited time only event.
I do hope they bring mage tower back but with new rewards so everyone may have a reason to do it, not only people that missed legion expansion.
The fact that the only two existing flail-style weapons are locked behind unavailable content is abysmal. Seriously, what the hell, Blizzard.
While I strongly believe that Mage Tower should return with original rewards (AND an extra recolour for those of us who got them the first time around so we can participate too), I would also like to see Blizzard make more flail models in general.
Why not just ask for more flails? Keep the uniqueness of the MT flail while still offering other flails
Maybe we can even get a heavy (2h) flail this way
The point is to give you challange and give you new recolored t20 tombs sets 
but i rather have new flails then the old ones
I have the flail and the other nicest MT transmogs (the Druid ones notably) and I would be more than happy if Blizzard went back on the silly « it’s exclusive to Legion » policy and gave everyone the chance to get the appearances today.
I’m fairly certain that many who did MT 3 or 4 years like me would think likewise or simply not care either way and thus the « uproar » would be much tinier than some think.
You can’t say that for sure, the sets could be from Legion m+, raid or badgevendor as well
