Mage Tower Healing challenge guide and tips

The Healing challenge is all that’s left for the mount, can someone answer me these questions : 1. Is Circe’s ring good for the challenge?
2. Is it necessary to buy old gear with gem sockets or is TWW gear enough?
3. Which Trinkets are best for the challenge?
4. Which consumables should I pick?
5. Is the challenge still overtuned?
6. Which healing spec has it easiest in the challenge and which Hero talents are great for it as well?

Having more power always makes things easier but don’t waste gold on old gear with one socket on AH.

Instead, run one round of TBC HC Dungeons and Raids, loot from there has the highest amount of sockets per item while still being above the item lvl you are set to in the Mage Tower.

If you don’t get a good weapon, you can use Dragonwrath with three sockets if you have it.

You can use TWW Neck and Rings with 2x Magnificent Jeweler’s Setting in each item to get even more sockets.

Make use of the Unique gems from older expansion, they do get scaled down but they will offer more stats that the standard “+8 primary stat” gems.

From my experience, it is best to use raw stat trinkets. All effects like “Does X damage / healing” seem to have been nerfed to the ground. Trinkets that give you primary stat work the best.

Are Garrosh heirloom weapons with sockets good?
Also, is Circe’s Circlet and it’s gems any good?

The heirlooms seem ok.

I have no idea about Circe’s Circlet.

There is a guy making clips about how easy it is with the new ring and the new tww embelishment enchantment. Fluffy guide
