Beating Rafael Nadal at tennis is 100% skill and doable with practise.
It’s just something I’ll never manage, just like the Mage Tower.

The percentage of players capable of doing the Mage Tower, even with guides+videos, BIS gear+gems+enchantments, six months practise and top spec hardware is very far from 100%.

I am afraid you have to get good gear/right stats + stronger consumables for it. Otherwise you get destroyed. There is no way copy pasting a video where they use 1 ability to kill things and you need 4, or something like that.

I personally havent even attempted it, really dont have the enthusiasm to do it.

Its not about gear its about controlling the abilities those bosses do, the mechanics etc not dps or healing output will give you a win in mage tower at some point.

It was a total world of difference using things like BFA consumables. It is to me 100% about using the right buffs.

Try it a few time and then let me know.
Just have the macro to frostbolt Karam and “Move to” button of the pet in a comfortable position.

Worst take ever made.
Some bosses have both hard and soft enrages, so just by pumping higher dps, you can play way worse and still succeed.

Plus higher dps> bosses phases faster → Less mechanics to deal with and less room for mistakes. Those challenges are dictated by DPS.

Sure there are mechanics, dps is still king tho.

i don’t understand why in the tank mage tower you have to do DPS. ok, just a little dps is ok, but having to do alot of dmg? as a tank? Why?

Because in most of the content, that is what you aim at doing once your primary role is covered. Once you do not die, you need to aim at killing the boss.

still, in SL i do dmg but thank to my covenant and leggos, who are key for my dps as guardian.

Saying it is impossible is silly as clearly people do it.
For me, it’s too hard and I’ll just accept defeat and miss out on the cool bear form.

abuse trinkets…there is wowhead guide with broken gear.some was nerfed after the tryhards got it but some still are good (and aim for sockets)

tldr farm old raids for gear with sockets

Well going to say it differently, yes dps is needed, but you cannot tunnel vision alone at your dps you will fail, but to say it is overtuned is a whole bs take, using your potions at the right time, cd’s at the right time is key. Also i wasnt mistaken what i said. People are frustrated because they cant handle the different mechanics or the pace of them.

The mage tower was terribly balanced in legion. It was made for ToS gear but some classes could do it well before.

The mage tower is a challenge, it’s not something that’s supposed to be done in 30 minutes.

Make mistakes. Learn. Try again. Repeat.

Do people remember when you bought a game you tried until you made it - it wasn’t possible to patch then.
