Hello,
did we get any information when will Shadowlands version of mage tower return? I only remember Blizzard mentioning that it will be back soon in Dragonflight.
Sadly no.
The mage tower will (/might) return when they lost alot off their subs due to content drought.
Currently subs are dropping (I imagine) but it’s probally not untill 10.1(.5).
I’ll give you bugs are annoying. There are two WQ’s I can’t do today because they’re bugged.
But someone else exploiting a Rep isn’t really worth unsubbing over. I was an still am very annoyed about the Artisan Rep exploiters, but I’ve gotten over it really and progressed in the system to it not really affecting me anymore.
Professions were always advertised as needing Work. I don’t really think waiting for Public Work Orders to turn up constitute Work. Spamming trade chat for orders is work. Having said that, the system lacks a catch up for those late to the game. And the Talent/Knowledge system is Flaw (I have tanked my Scribe).
I don’t understand what you mean about no promised changes. there have been plenty of changes implemented.
As for M+, Raids and PVP. That’s all there ever was anyway. However there is still plenty to be doing. I have played pretty solidly since launch and I am still finding tasks to do.
I will add to your list though. I think Class tuning is a real problem, and I can understand why someone (especially those focused purely on end-game content) might decide to move on until the Classes are more balanced. For example, I came into the expansion hoping to main my Fire Mage, I’ve had to resort to my 2nd choice of being a Holy Priest. Neither are tuned particularly well. So M+ has been a horrible experience for me so far this expansion.
However, in general, I’m hearing pretty good feedback overall about the expansion and game direction. Most people are having an absolute blast. Whilst I respect your Friendliest might be dissipating, I’ll tell you for sure, mine has done nothing but grow.
Oh my lord, Same here.
Always been a warrior, first expack ever playing a caster. Fire was the most attractive because it plays so fast, untill it was gutted into garbage .
Here I am playing Arcane…
I specced Arcane for a while, and just felt like it wasn’t for me.
I’ve got multiple classes, and because of the way Shadowlands soft limited you to 1 spec (because of Legendaries etc), I just got used to 1 spec per class. So rather than learning a new Spec, I just decided to play another class. But having levelled 2 70s in 1 week and putting so much working into my Mage, I decided I didn’t want to level up another Toon or learn a new spec.
I’ll just sit out and until they make Fire better.
It’s coming close.
I’ve had mixed results on Fire myself (with my crit % to high) but it can work, if I fix my statts a bit better (and my gems) I am sure it could be competitive, just by default 5-10k dps below Arcane.
It will come back as soon as blizzard can see the effects on tier set and classes.
It will be very overtuned in the start, because blizzard dont want to give free stuff away. It is always better to nerf later on so people will think that blizz did listen to the crowd rather than they are awfull at scaling .
It’s better than it was. But still needs a 3rd buff. I also think that Pyroclasm and SKB proc need a much longer up time. It’s too easy to miss using a proc because of anything ranging from dodging an affix to slow pulling tank. And by missing using just 1 proc and absolutely gimp your performance.
I don’t think uptime on those procs is a problem.
I think pyroblasts cast time is just way to long, you ruin half your combustion getting one proc off and then gimp yourself because you didn’t obtain enough SKB stacks for the next minute.
Pyroblast’s casttime inside Combustion could use a -1sec.
remember when Tier sets were taken out and they came out saying “Oh we, the devs, have been wanting to put them back in game for ages, but gosh darn it just has been impossible!”
So we will be getting similar post about MT in future
Personally, I’m not finding ignite spec performing well enough. It was an absolute Blast in Pre-Patch, I had so much fun. But I generally find Flame Patch build a little more rewarding. But I think they’re balance in a way that either or are good enough.
