The problem ist not what to interrupt, but so many things happening at the same time. I even use macros for my interrupt / CC spells with either a specific target or a focus target element, so I don’t have to switch targets if I don’t need to. Anything which saves you some hundred milliseconds is useful!
Yeah I feel you. I am 602 pulls into this and my best was a 5% because off exactly that. Got aggro on 3 of the Horrors, the forth decided to chill at Valen and even a direct moonfire did nothing. Next Infernal smash and beam pushes me into the smash, end of run…

you can use the bear regen to get aggro
i used to pick one up at a side portal then regen
always save fear shout to interrupt them, they should die really fast
takes a few tries to learn to keep calm and be methodical, the first few times i reached kruul heart raced, then i started to know what i did wrong, for example start kruul in the middle next to the orbs is a mistake i did several times, then i always tried to kite it on the sides to leave 2 pools there and also help pick adds
keep practice, dont give up, its a hard challenge but u will also feel it when its done
if i may point a few dps increases:
-u got intelect on bracers, can be +5 agility, all class hall sell lvl50 brakers with socket that u can put +5 agility enchant on and a +3agi gem.
-off hand should be sinfull enchant (gives +6% dmg debuff)
-main hand can be force multiplier for big agility proc
-prydaz is best neck, if u dont have it then get a lvl48 crafted kneck from legion with ur desired stats, has 1 socket for a +3 gem and then u can enchant hidden satyr for even more free dmg
-u can use nethershards to get a lvl50 hands and put +6 agility on them, alternatively you can use legion lowcraft hands like me
-same goes for cloak, lvl48 legion craft or lv50 nethershards, then put a +6 main stat on them
-legs the same, use nethershards or crafted and then put an +3 agility leg armor
-for the head since ur not using sockets, you can use azurite gear (you can buy them with 5pearls in najatar, the token is account bound) as they have double the main stat, same would go for shoulders and chest but the ones u got are good
-i used +30 stat on chest, goes down to +11 as lvl50
-another, incarnation of ursoc talent also lets u burst cleave any add alive when kruul lands
with thrash, swipe, seed pod, adds are taken care off, the big point is kruul single target dmg
that was some stuff i just noticed u can improve, best of luck

I was using the intellect on bracers because I assumed the intellect would help when im in boomie form in phase 1 but maybe it doesnt.

It’s easy to do, what are you on about? All you need it BfA consumables and a little bit of time to figure it out. Watcha YT Video and read a guide. I don’t get people who complain here about it being to hard. Everyone can do it.
You need to log that char so achives update because atm it shows you have not done it on that account.

It’s funny when people come to say “Lol you’re noob that you cannot do your guardian challenge, I did enhancement and it’s very easy, you should be able to do it in 30 pulls.”
And by such idiotic comments they try to invalidate feedback on challenges they haven’t even tried.

get better gear probably, if you’re that close
there are some cheese trinkets that summon some NPCs that do insane dmg
or do Emerald Nightmare for the first boss trinket… if you don’t have it
600 sounds like way too much… also do consumables and stuff, if you do all that, I’m sure you will kill it in another few attempts
btw you can die in process, but the NPC can’t
the aggro thing happened to me too, but I charged the mob and went through the orb, so it stopped him
So, you did it on level 45-50 chars without any enchants or consumes?
Depends on which one? I can guarantee you didn’t do it with unenchanted/ungemmed gear and probably found ways to cheese it some and on max levels. But you won’t talk about that, will you?

The last horror just chilling out by itself has happened a lot more today, I feel. Not sure if it’s intended…
This was my thought as well, but then, after I took a break and had dinner, I pulled again and only realized halfway through I did not have my food buff or my rune buff and still got Kruul down to 6%.
I killed Kruul on pull 646, and to be honest, I am not sure what I did differently than any of my previous runs.
I ended the fight doing 910 dps, Unbridled Fury only did 8% damage where Moonfire did 23% and Brambles did 5%
It came down to the spawns of the Horrors and the beams if I should hazard a guess.
