For SV Hunter needs a HP nerf,
If u get too P2 the mechanik is super simple and its only a DPs race, broken Trinkets and Timewalking gear makes it easy for people too pass it
It should be a challange of skill and not what gear you got on your char from 5 years ago…
BLIZZARD pls balance it for people without that thx
Just to correct you:
This is not true. Even with BIS TW gear, broken trinkets and enchants, the challenge is incredibly tight, atleast for Havoc DH. I saw people doing it with best gear, and by the time boss died, there was a tiny space to stand in. Overtuned by any means.
I did it as frost dk with only a heirloom wep, it’s tight for sure but doable.

Yeah ia, after doing this on a havoc dh, second phase seems kinda overtuned a bit. If the boss had lived for like 2 more seconds I would’ve failed it lol.

Best I could do was 9%, and I think it was because I got lucky with crits and procs… DPS Check is just to tight, I usually leave him at ~15/20% by the time I run out of space. I think if you mess up the rotation for a bit, you’re just screwed 
I tried a bunch of different combination of gear to get more stats, but no luck yet. I think I’m finding this one harder than the Resto Shaman one pre-nerf. I’m going mental with P2 on this one 
Also, agreed with the gear part, but would add consumables to it… Potions, Flasks, Drums… Also repairs… I spent quite a big amount of gold already
I just gave up and did it in arms warrior

Got like 40times in P2 Test all possible gear and Talent sets, but there was no way too get the kill without bis timewalking gear eaven if u play perfect
Its so frustradet if u master the Challange and the mechanik and then dont get the Kill because of wrong balancing
Most people make rotational mistakes all the time. The challenge is tuned so you need to be pretty perfect with it. Obviously use consumables if you can’t get it otherwise. Lust, pot, food, flask, etc. Knowing how to kite the guy is also important. You can get considerably more time based on how you kite. Yes, even with the edge strat that you’re undoubtedly doing.
I don’t know the specifics of the survival hunter challenge, I haven’t done it, so you could be right. That being said, from 1 minute of googling I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZoDUKGw-Ds
Look at how the guy kites and how much free room he still has by the end. Instead of giving up, you could try this strat. And it’s what I recommend in general, do research if you don’t think you can do it with your current knowledge.
I am not a quitter was testing what he was doing, give my a few % but for the Kill all Hunter use zycltronik blast Trinket that give u 10 to 15 % easy

I am sure some World first raider can do it with my gear, but WTF tge thinking if only 0.01 %of the player can finish tgis challange without Tinewalking shi*
just yesterday one of my guildies said he did the survival challenge on his level 50 survival hunter alt. no gems as well apparently. looks like very standard level 50 gear except for some dragonling trinket, not sure which one. i’m sure the dps check is very doable.

Oh, not just me then! I’m using my DH for this and i’ve been stuck on 4/7 challenges all day… You need to be 100% flawless and not get shafted by very tight rng… It’s just over the top hard. I did this back in Legion and it was a lot easier. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
I gave up from doing it on Havoc, as I just don’t feel like making some mistakes on rotation should affect the encounter that much. Best I could do was 9%, aside from that, it was always around 15k/20k by the time I got no room. I could definitely kite it better, but hey, I went to my arms warrior, and even though I only press a key once every 5 seconds (#SlowAssSpec), I managed to do it, because of execute fase. Banging my head on the Guardian Druid now Aside from that, it’s been I think 3 or 4 days since last batch of “tunning”. Feeling like it’s taking a while for them to at the very least, communicate they’re either continuing to look into it (some of the challenges at least), or just say it’s all good now, and they have no intentions of changing them anymore. I guess we’re stuck with the good old communication from Blizz side, but hey, that’s what you get when you pay a monthly sub to a multi dollar company =) Looks like it’s a player issue from what’ve seen in the forums, both US and EU, and most of us just need the GitGud hammer.

Too much power are in Systhems and gear etc…
Back in Legion i did on my main Mage tower on the first day, many other speccs a patch later, and it was not eaven close this hard…
It was always understand and play clean then u got it
I saw the video of a rank 1 gladiator doing it on SV hunter and he said he needed to use mechagon trinket and potion from bfa otherwise it was impossible, he finished with no space left and died together with the boss.
He said you must abuse proper gear otherwise the dps check is too tight
I’m sure you can do it with normal gear, you have people that have done it, BUT, it doesn’t mean that this is not overtunned. Maybe they got lucky with crits for instance, procs, etc. Maybe you can grind out the mechanics of it, and perfect your rotation, kite it as slowly as possible, all of that, BUT AGAIN, should it be this unforgiven, specially for recycled mogs and a new appearence? Why is it so hard for Blizz to make this close to what was in the PTR, where people that did it said it was a challenge, but doable, and you can see it on the videos. The average player doesn’t have the time to invest in this, and as normal, does not have the skills of a mythic raiders, or a r1 glad player, and that’s ok for the most part, but not for this recycled content I think 
Update this eavning i decide too make the BM challange and suceed after a few hours, need a bit too get used too BM and the mechanik
But this fight eaven if it feels tigh tuned it feels like the hole time i need one good pull with no mistakes and i got this, and so it was stand last Phase for the worm with full HP and all Cds up eaven i used the Bloodlust on the small worms bevor i got this then pretty easy
